Story
When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! ADOPT...........DON'T SHOP!!! My LIFE depends on it!!! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
This sweet boy came to the shelter after being removed from an unsafe situation. Despite his past, he is affectionate and eager to connect with people. He can be very vocal and appears to have strong hunting instincts. He knows a few basic commands but will benefit from continued training and consistency. Having been passed between multiple homes, he needs a patient adopter who can earn his trust and provide the stability, understanding, and love he deserves. With time and a secure home, he has the potential to become a loyal and devoted companion.

Story
This sweet girl came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. Unfortunately, she is not thriving in the shelter environment and would do best in a home where she can have plenty of space, enrichment, and activity. She is a smart girl who knows tricks and absolutely loves toys! She would thrive with an adopter who enjoys keeping their dog busy and engaged. A home with acreage would be ideal, but an active household that can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and one-on-one time could also be a great fit. Because she is struggling in the shelter, she may experience anxiety in certain situations and will need an adopter who is patient, understanding, and willing to work with her as she adjusts to a new environment. We would not recommend a crate-based home or a situation where she would need to spend significant amounts of time confined to a crate. She has so much potential and would benefit from someone willing to give her the time, structure, enrichment, and patience she needs to feel secure. A committed adopter could make a huge difference in helping her become the happy, confident dog we know she can be.

Story
This sweet girl came to us as a stray and was recently surrendered into our care. When she arrived, it was clear that she hadn’t received all of the care and attention she needed while growing up. Despite her uncertain past, she is a very loving and playful girl who is ready to experience all the good things life has to offer. She enjoys running around, having fun, and spending time with people. She is still learning and getting used to a routine, including working on her potty training. Her previous lifestyle is unknown, so we are giving her the time, patience, and guidance she needs to learn and grow. She is a happy, affectionate pup with a playful personality and so much potential. With continued care, consistency, and love, she is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion!

Story
Opal is a loving girl who came to us as a stray, and although she may be a bit wary of new people at first, it doesn't take long for her to warm up and show you just how affectionate she can be. Once she bonds, Opal becomes a total love bug who just wants to be close to her humans! Opal loves running around outside and having fun in the yard, but she’s developed quite the escape artist skills, so she’ll need a secure, fenced yard to keep her safe and entertained. A large yard where she can stretch her legs would be ideal for this active girl. Although Opal came to us with another dog, she’s fairly independent and would need a meet and greet to ensure she’s a good fit with other dogs in the home. She enjoys the company of others but also loves her alone time. Opal’s adoption fee covers her vaccines, microchip, and spay, so she’s all set to start her new life with you! If you’re looking for a sweet, independent dog who enjoys a good run and is ready to be your loyal companion, Opal might be the one for you. Come meet her today – she’s ready to find her forever home!
