I used to live out in the country. My friend had a dog they couldn't keep anymore because they're going to do foster care (for kids). So we agreed to take in the dog. We've known her since she was a puppy and she's very well behaved. Here's part of the problem we're experiencing is that this dog was always outside and she had enough space to run and do whatever she wanted. She is very friendly and lovable. She doesn't bark or lick. She's used to small animals like cats and chickens and she leaves them alone. I currently have a small backyard. And honestly I think the dog's getting a little depressed. I think she'd just be much happier with some room to run or maybe a retired person that could spend more time with her. She would be a great couch dog. All she wants to do is cuddle! I don’t want to charge an adoption fee. And the right person can have her doghouse, food, leashes, etc. I would like to meet anyone interested in her. Her Name is Peanut. She is 5 and is healthy. Thank you

Diesel has been with our family since he was 8 weeks old. He is nearly 3 now. We adopted him from a breeder and he is a pure bread German Shorthair Pointer. He was neutered and chipped about 6months ago. He has been kept up to date with his shots and flea/tick meds. Diesel is playful, enjoying a fair game of tug-of-war but also enjoys a cuddle every night. With his breed type, he is always on alert and on the hunt to follow his nose. He enjoys the off leash dog park and is usually the fastest dog there. He loves his dog door to the backyard, where he can follow the squirrels and catch an occasional chipmunk. He would love a new home with lots of land and an owner that could work one on one with him to train his hunting abilities. Diesel would love more walks and physical activity. He has been good around my young kids but I feel he would do better with less stimulation. A calm home would suit him well. Please consider providing a good home for him.

This sweet boy is Ranger Boone is such a sweet soul who has had a rough start to life. We believe he was hit by a car and then taken to a kill shelter where we scooped him up! He is on the road to recovery but that doesn’t slow him down one bit! He is super sweet to all people, knows his commands, good with other pups, potty trained and just all puppy love! Ranger Boone — Foster Home Update ❤️ Ranger Boone is a sweet, affectionate, playful boy with the cutest goofy puppy personality. He can be cautious with new people and situations, but give him time and space to approach at his own pace and he warms up pretty quickly. Once comfortable, he’s an absolute lovebug—and an incredible cuddler! 🐾 Play, snooze, snuggle, repeat. Fun bursts of puppy energy with a great off-switch. 🐾 Doing wonderfully with our resident female dog and respects her cues when she’s done playing. 🐾 Has passed other dogs calmly on walks with no reaction. 🐾 Smart, responsive and very food motivated. 🐾 Settles nicely in his kennel and now puts himself in it at bedtime. 🐾 Learning household boundaries quickly. 🐾 Leash manners need a little work—he likes to pull and zigzag while exploring, but redirects well. 🐾 Loves toys and balls, although toys should be monitored because he may chew them up. 🐾 Cats have been reported as a yes. Slow, calm introductions with new people are important, including children. Give Ranger a chance to observe and get comfortable rather than rushing interaction. Overall, Ranger has been a really easygoing foster—sweet, playful, affectionate and happy to settle in with his people. He’s got a goofy puppy heart, a great off-switch and a whole lot of love to give. ❤️

This sweet, energetic guy has been waiting a while for his new home, but he knows the right person or people will see him and pick him soon. He's an eight-year-old pointer mix who has plenty of pointer energy. He would love an adult-only home where there aren't a lot of people coming and going because new people can be scary. He would be fabulous in a home with patient people who adore him, and where he can go on lots of walks or runs and play ball outside -- his favorite game! An avid nature lover, Andy also likes to watch birds and squirrels. (He's really just a little nosey, so he'll happily keep an eye on the neighborhood for you, too. Remember Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched?) Andy is also a very smart boy. He's already crate trained and house trained, knows basic commands, and is always up for learning more. Do you have other pets in your home? Andy could do well with another pet (including cats!), as long as he had a proper, slow introduction. And here's another cool thing about Andy -- he's currently in board and train with The Pet Connection and would continue with classes and support after adoption.
