Story
Meet Darci, a 2.5-year-old, 50-pound bundle of joy, eagerly waiting to find her forever home! This affectionate and athletic beauty loves nothing more than running and stretching her long legs, making her the perfect companion for walks, jogs, or hikes. Darci has mastered walking on a leash and is both crate-trained and house-trained, making her an ideal addition to any active family. By the way, she loves to go on car rides and is the perfect little girl when in public places. Darci’s smart and curious nature means she’s always up for an adventure. Her funny, playful personality will keep you entertained for hours. Whether she’s chasing a ball or figuring out the latest puzzle toy, she’s always in her element. And let’s not forget her love for kisses—she’ll shower you with affection and make you feel like the luckiest person in the world. This lovely girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs, so she’d fit right in with your furry friends. Plus, she adores kids, making her the perfect family dog. If you're looking for a loving, loyal, and fun-loving companion, Darci is your girl! Darci is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 months+ receive a ProHeart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final before your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged for dogs that are adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48-hour quarantine period at our Woburn, MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn, MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY, PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted, you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below, or you may not hear from us, as these often end up in spam or bounce back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process, and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
