Story
This is Cooper. He and his sweet sister, Katie have been tossed around from rescue to rescue and living in kennels for over a year! First springer rescue got them and left them in a kennel for months before deciding they weren't springers and then someone else stepped up but they stayed in a kennel again. We have had them now and are working with them. They are so sweet and happy! Cooper walks well on a leash and is pretty close to house trained. He is neutered, UTD on all vaccines and is HW neg. We are so desperate to find these babies a loving home to live out their lives in that we are cutting the adoption fee in half but they must stay together. Please consider them! You will not regret it. Please email omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our info and application. They are used to being outside a lot so a fenced yard is a requirement.

Story
This is Katie. She and her brother, Cooper have been tossed around from rescue to rescue and living in kennels for over a year! First springer rescue got them and left them in a kennel for months before deciding they weren't springers and then someone else stepped up but they stayed in a kennel again. We have had them now and are working with them. They are so sweet and happy! Katie walks well on a leash and is housetrained. She is spayed, UTD on all vaccines and is HW neg. We are so desperate to find these babies a loving home to live out their lives in that we are cutting the adoption fee in half but they must stay together. So the fee would be $550 for BOTH. Please consider them! You will not regret it. Please email omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our info and application. They are used to being outside a lot so a fenced yard is a requirement.

Story
Birthdate: 1/10/2016Breed: One of a kindRemi is a good boy with everyone he meets! He especially loves to go out for his walks and spend time with his favorite volunteers. You will often find Remi in a play yard romping and hopping with his little tail wagging. Remi would do best in a home with an experienced owner, someone that can give him a loving routine and some exercise! If you are that person, you truly will have the best of friends in Remi. *Remi would love to get to know you better! Our behavior specialist can help you get to know him better with three training sessions! Email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information!*Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.July 21, 2024, 1:23 am

Story
Look at that face! Harold has a happy, friendly personality to match his good looks. He is a handsome, affectionate, friendly boy, who has a waggy tail, loves to cuddle and is pretty free with his kisses! He is friendly with other dogs, big and small. Harold loves to play. He is not a fan of bicycles whizzing by, so will do best in a quiet neighborhood environment. Harold is housebroken, and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. He is great with kids, but strong, so best with older kids. He walks nicely on a leash, likes to fetch a ball, but will be happy just chillin' in the grass and chewing on a bone! Harold is a proficient jumper, so if in the yard, the fence should be at least 5 feet tall. Training comes easier to Harold, as he is very food motivated. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30. If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application directly to our website, ny-petrescue.org. Only applications submitted directly to Petrescue will be considered.
