Birthdate: 1/10/2016Breed: One of a kindRemi is a good boy with everyone he meets! He especially loves to go out for his walks and spend time with his favorite volunteers. You will often find Remi in a play yard romping and hopping with his little tail wagging. Remi would do best in a home with an experienced owner, someone that can give him a loving routine and some exercise! If you are that person, you truly will have the best of friends in Remi. *Remi would love to get to know you better! Our behavior specialist can help you get to know him better with three training sessions! Email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information!*Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.November 26, 2025, 12:43 am

APPLY FOR BUTTERBEAN Meet Butterbean, or as we like to call her, Butter or Bean! This sweet girl is a medium-sized cutie, weighing in at about 40 lbs. At just 10 months old, Bean is a Pointer mix who is fully vetted and microchipped.   Bean has a heart of gold and hasn’t met a person or animal she doesn’t want to snuggle with! She’s all about fun and playtime but knows just the right moment to settle down and curl up on your lap for a cozy nap. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids too.   Bean is housebroken and knows some basic commands like sit, drop, and even leave it. While she doesn’t spend too much time on a leash, she’s done well when she’s had to be on it. This gentle girl is eager to continue learning!   Bean would absolutely love a forever family where she can run, play, and just have a great time, especially if there’s another furry friend or kiddo in the house to join in on the fun!   ADOPTION FEE: $663  ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:  Alteration, Microchip, Vaccines APPLICATION: Click here to apply IF YOU HAVE OWNED A PET IN THE LAST 10 YEARS, PLEASE CALL YOUR VET AHEAD OF TIME TO ALLOW RESCUES TO SPEAK TO THEM APPLY FOR BUTTERBEAN ##2619243##

Story
Otis is a beautiful, sweet, healthy 6-year old German Shorthaired Pointer. He is a purebread and has papers from the American Kennel Association. We have owned Otis since he was 5 months old. Otis is affectionate, loves kids, and is a great watchdog with a fantastic howl. He loves to be walked and to run in wide open spaces. GSPs are hunting dogs and Otis loves to chase down rabbits, chipmonks and the like. While Otis is a wonderful dog, he has some behavioral challenges. He does not do well with other dogs including our own, 2 years older. We think as an "only child" he would thrive. The best owner for Otis should be okay with not going to dog parks and keeping him on-leash. This person should be experienced with big dogs, prepared to have a strong hand, and looking for a loving and loyal companion. We are incredibly sad give Otis up, but think it is what's best for him. We are hoping Otis is adopted by a loving family who will make him feel as special as he deserves.

Story
Meet Jasmine! 🌼 Jasmine is a 1-year-old, big, sweet, and goofy girl who is looking for her forever home. We’ve had her since she was about 7–8 months old, after she was heartbreakingly dumped and literally starving. She has come such a long way and is now a happy, healthy, playful dog. 🐶 Personality Very high energy and playful, LOVES other dogs and does great with them. Great with kids, though she is a big girl and may jump up when excited, Super smart and a quick learner Loves toys and playtime, she’s a very silly girl. Currently learning leash manners—she needs a minute to calm down but then walks well 🏡 Ideal Home Jasmine would thrive in an active home that can give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and continued training. She would do great with another dog and with a family who enjoys a big, loving, goofy companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, affectionate dog who will keep you smiling, Jasmine might be your perfect match! 💛🐾 Jasmine is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
MEET ME IN NORTHAMPTON, MA! I JUST MOVED HERE! Howdy folks. My name is Tina, and I am a pretty and petite German Shorthaired Pointer/Shar-Pei mix, about 2 years old, and I weigh just 32 lbs. I was brought into the City of San Antonio “Kill” shelter as possibly being hit by a car, but just had a few scrapes, and nothing was broken, thank goodness! I was having a problem with my right eye squinting, which the shelter couldn't figure out, and another local vet thought my eyelid might be curling in, but when I came up positive for a tick disease, easily treated with 30 days of Doxycycline, my eye cleared up, and it turns out it was one of the symptoms. These days, I am happy and healthy, no longer squinting, and I’m ready to find a forever home! I am a very sweet and easygoing girl, and I make friends easily with everyone I meet. I’m talkin’ kids, dogs, cats, strangers, men, women, I’m lovely. I am playful and lovable and have never barked once at my foster home. I am well-behaved, already housebroken, walk well on a leash, and will sit nicely in the passenger seat or back seat on a car ride. I’m not really into dog toys, but I’m into pleasing my people, and just so you know, I’m a very sound sleeper! Inquire about me today. Another YouTube video of Tina: https://youtube.com/shorts/VxKkgFBmkFU * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
