Story
Darci is a cute little girl looking for her forever home. She is 34 lbs and approx 18 months old. She loves to run and stretch her long legs. She is working on walking on a leash and is learning quickly. She is a very smart girl. Darci gets along well with other dogs. She would make a great addition to any family. Taking her on walks, jogs, or hikes would be right up her alley. We are working with her on crate training and housetraining. She is catching on quickly. She is such a pretty little girl who is the perfect size companion. Darci is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final before your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged for dogs that are adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! Birthdate: 1/10/2016Breed: One of a kindRemi is a good boy with everyone he meets! He especially loves to go out for his walks and spend time with his favorite volunteers. You will often find Remi in a play yard romping and hopping with his little tail wagging. Remi would do best in a home with an experienced owner, someone that can give him a loving routine and some exercise! If you are that person, you truly will have the best of friends in Remi. *Remi would love to get to know you better! Our behavior specialist can help you get to know him better with three training sessions! Email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information!*Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.March 7, 2026, 11:22 am

Story
Millie is a great dog she is 7 years old and has lived with us since we purchased her from litter. This past year she was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. (This illness has not progressed and she may have been misdiagnosed) Sounds scary but she still loves to fetch actually it’s an obsession fetching. She will always have a ball in her mouth. The biggest symptom of her lar par is vomiting. Other than that she is fine. She has a jug as a sister that she gets along with that’s really the only other dog she has been with since birth. She is pure bred without papers and is a pretty female. My wife and I just had a baby and Millie needs time that we can’t give her. She also needs room to run large backyard. She is not a trained bird hunter but displays an excellent point when she sees anything in the yard. We are looking for someone who can give her the time she needs. She sleeps in her bed but loves sleeping and cuddling mostly on top of us lol we are open to any trial adoption.

Story
Meet Jasmine! 🌼 Jasmine is a 1-year-old, big, sweet, and goofy girl who is looking for her forever home. We’ve had her since she was about 7–8 months old, after she was heartbreakingly dumped and literally starving. She has come such a long way and is now a happy, healthy, playful dog. 🐶 Personality Very high energy and playful, LOVES other dogs and does great with them. Great with kids, though she is a big girl and may jump up when excited, Super smart and a quick learner Loves toys and playtime, she’s a very silly girl. Currently learning leash manners—she needs a minute to calm down but then walks well 🏡 Ideal Home Jasmine would thrive in an active home that can give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and continued training. She would do great with another dog and with a family who enjoys a big, loving, goofy companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, affectionate dog who will keep you smiling, Jasmine might be your perfect match! 💛🐾 Jasmine is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
Welcome Oaks to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Oaks is a 1.5 year old German Short haired pointer and German Shepherd. He is about 48 pounds and a good weight. He is good in a car, potty trained, doggy door trained and lives with six children starting at age 2. He also lives with 6 other dogs and does fine. He would be great with a family and children would be fine. We like them to be 8 or older. He is smart, laid back, good with other dogs and bonds deeply to his family. He is a little timid with strangers but comfortable with his people. His foster family is going to start taking him places so he can get used to changes in environment and other people. He is smart but he doesn’t like to retrieve like his sister does. He is a nice dog and naturally a little protective to his family. He would be great with a family that the dad travels and he wants to feel that his family is safe and taken care of. He is a moderate shedding dog and with his long legs would be a great walking or jogging companion. He is neutered, healthy and getting his vaccinations and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
