Story
Birthdate: 1/10/2016Breed: One of a kindRemi is a good boy with everyone he meets! He especially loves to go out for his walks and spend time with his favorite volunteers. You will often find Remi in a play yard romping and hopping with his little tail wagging. Remi would do best in a home with an experienced owner, someone that can give him a loving routine and some exercise! If you are that person, you truly will have the best of friends in Remi. *Remi would love to get to know you better! Our behavior specialist can help you get to know him better with three training sessions! Email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information!*Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.November 26, 2025, 12:43 am

Story
Meet Hank, an absolutely stunning 1.3-year-old GSP mix with a heart as big as his smile! This adorable boy has a fantastic personality—fun, friendly, and full of life. Hank loves all people and gets along well with other dogs, especially pups his own size or larger. Hank is an energetic guy who’s always ready for adventure, but he also knows how to unwind and relax when the fun is over. He’s house trained, crate trained, and eager to please. Sadly, Hank is losing his home through no fault of his own; despite every effort, he just can’t live peacefully with the resident cats. Hank is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He’s ready to find a cat-free home where he can love big, play hard, and finally settle in for good. Apply to meet this sweet, lively boy today!December 21, 2025, 10:24 am

Story
Howdy folks. My name is Tina, and I am a pretty German Shorthaired Pointer mix, about 2 years old, and I weigh just 32 lbs. I was brought into the City of San Antonio “Kill” shelter as possibly being hit by a car, but had just a few scrapes, and nothing was broken, thank goodness! I was having some problem with my right eye squinting, which the shelter couldn't figure out, and another local vet thought my eyelid might be curling in, but when I came up positive for a tick disease, easily treated with 30 days of Doxycycline, my eye cleared up, and it turns out it was one of the symptoms. These days, I am happy and healthy, no longer squinting, and I’m ready to find a forever home! I am a very sweet and easygoing girl, and I make friends easily with everyone I meet. I’m talkin’ kids, dogs, cats, strangers, men, women, I’m lovely. I am playful and lovable and have never barked once at my foster home. I am well-behaved, already housebroken, walk well on a leash, and will sit nicely in the passenger seat or back seat on a car ride. I’m not really into dog toys, but I’m into pleasing my people, and just so you know, I’m a very sound sleeper! Inquire about me today. Adoption Fee: $400 FYI: The video and some pictures were taken before Tina’s right eye healed. The pictures in the car are from this week. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
