Story
Cosmo is a 4–5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a big heart, a joyful spirit, and energy for days. He’s everything people love about the breed, athletic, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure with his favorite humans. Cosmo truly loves people. He’s friendly, sweet, and enjoys spending time with adults, kids, and other dogs. He’s the kind of pup who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s heading out for a walk, playing fetch in the yard, going on a hike, or just hanging out together after a busy day. We don’t know much about Cosmo’s life before rescue, but we do know he’s eager to learn and wants to please. While he hasn’t had a lot of formal training in the past, he’s already making great progress in foster care and is picking things up quickly with consistency and positive reinforcement. Cosmo is also receiving professional training through Impawssible Pups, and we’re excited to continue sharing his progress as he grows into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. As a true GSP, Cosmo will thrive in a home that understands and embraces an active lifestyle. He’ll do best with a family that can provide plenty of daily exercise, mental enrichment, and continued training to keep his mind and body happy. Because he’s energetic and can be a bit vocal, apartment living isn’t the right fit, Cosmo will be happiest in a home where he has room to move and explore. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, athletic companion who will keep you active and bring endless joy to your life, Cosmo might be the perfect match. Cosmo is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and kept on monthly preventatives. He is currently located in the Charlotte area and ready to meet his forever family. His adoption fee is $350. 🧬 German Shorthaired Pointer 🎂 ~4–5 years old 💉 UTD on vaccines ✂️ Neutered ❤️ Heartworm negative 🐶 Dog friendly 🐱 No cats recommended 👧 Kid friendly 🚽 House trained 💤 Crate trained 🏃‍♂️ Very active / athletic breed 🎓 Currently in professional training 🌳 Needs an active home with space to run From Cosmo: Hi, I’m Cosmo! I’ve got a lot of energy and an even bigger heart. I love being around my people and going on adventures, walks, runs, hikes, you name it, I’m in. I’m still learning the ropes, but I’m a smart guy and I really want to make you proud. I’d love a home that will keep me active, help me keep learning, and include me in all the fun. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic best friend who’s always ready to go, I think we’d make a great team.

Story
Rhett is a 2-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who recently joined the rescue and is already stealing hearts everywhere he goes. With his gentle personality and affectionate nature, Rhett is what we like to call a certified cuddle bug, if you love snuggles, he’s more than happy to oblige. Rhett is a sweet, playful, and loyal boy who enjoys the simple things in life: a good game of fetch, sniffing around the backyard, and heading out for walks with his people. Walks are one of his favorite activities, and he gets so excited when he sees other dogs that he sometimes whines hoping he can go say hello. While he does enjoy other dogs, he can be a little timid and nervous at first, especially around confident pups, so slow introductions help him feel more comfortable. This handsome guy also has a bit of a funny side, mornings aren’t really his thing. Rhett prefers to sleep in and ease into the day, but once he’s up and moving he’s ready for exercise, exploring, and spending time with his favorite humans. Rhett already knows his name, how to sit, and comes when called, and he’s eager to keep learning. Like many young dogs, he’s still working on a few things such as crate training and building confidence when left alone, so he would do best with a patient family willing to continue his training and help him feel secure. Rhett seems to do okay with dogs outside the home with proper introductions but has not been okay with other dogs in the home. Because of this we think he would be best as an ONLY dog! If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a cuddle buddy, and an adventure partner all in one, Rhett might be the perfect match for you. Rhett is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and kept on monthly preventatives. He is currently located in the Charlotte area and ready to find his forever home. His adoption fee is $350. 🧬 German Shorthaired Pointer 🎂 ~2 years old 💉 UTD on vaccines ✂️ Neutered 🛡️ On monthly preventatives 🐶 Dog friendly (slow introductions best) ❤️ Very sweet and cuddly 🎾 Loves fetch 👃 Loves sniffing and exploring 🚶‍♂️ Enjoys walks and outdoor adventures 🌅 Professional morning sleeper 🎓 Still learning crate training and confidence building From Rhett: Hi, I’m Rhett. I might be a little shy at first, but once I know I’m safe, I turn into the biggest cuddle bug you’ve ever met. I love walks, sniffing everything, and being close to my person. I’m still learning and building confidence, so I’d really love a home that’s patient with me and helps me feel secure. I promise I’ll be your loyal shadow and best friend every step of the way.
