Story
Archie is going on 6 years of age. He has no medical issues and is very good with kids and other animals. We are rehoming Archie because he needs a home where he is given more attention and time. We have two small children and one on the way and Archie spends most of his time outside in the yard going neurotic over squirrels. He responds to commands sit, down, come. But he has a habit of barking at everything. We are just not able to put in the time to correct the behavioral issue that he has.

Story
MEET ROTINI!STATS: 1.5 years old, spayed, Brindle American Staffy Mix, 31 lbsAFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am like a tiny rocket - I get outside and ZOOM, I`M OFF! I am such a sweet little mushball and I absolutely melt when you make eye contact with me! I am super playful with other dogs, love the pool, and love to show off my tiny little zoomies when playing outside!WHAT I LOVE: I love running around as fast as I can and playing with the other dogs. I might be tiny, but I can keep up with my little legs! I am pretty submissive with other pups, so sometimes the really rough players intimidate me - I go full possum mode and roll over to show them I`m really just a tiny baby!KIDS: I have previously lived with children and absolutely love them!OTHER DOGS: I`m dog-friendly and love playing with the other dogs. I go to playgroup every day at the shelter and previously lived with another dog!HER MATCH: I would do wonderfully with a family that will help me learn and grow. I have the sweetest personality and love to snuggle. I would do wonderfully with another dog friend but would do great as an only dog, too!SPECIAL NOTE: I have perfected the puppy-dog eyes!Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey. Story
Need a wing man? Meet Creed, an adorable mixed breed that is just the sweetest boy ever. He came to us with his brother and sister from a Good Samaritan who found them in a box on the side of the road. He is looking for his forever family and home. While we do not know the exact breed, we know that rescued is the best breed of all. He walks well on a leash, loves other dogs and everyone he meets. He is a gentle couch potato who just wants to be loved. He has spent some time in a home environment and was reported to not make any messes so we think he may be house trained or very close to it.

Story
MEET SULLEY!STATS: 1.5 years old, spayed, American Staffy Mix, 47 lbsAFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am such a sweet and gentle little lady! I am extremely polite with both people and other dogs. I don’t have too much energy – enough for playing with my dog friends and going on walks, but I am lower key! When it comes to affection though, I am ALL IN!WHAT I LOVE: I really love hanging with other chill dogs, maybe playing a little fetch, and enjoying some time outside. What I REALLY love is getting loved on – kisses, scratches, and just being near people!KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks my gentle and sweet nature would make me a great companion for kids that are kind and respectful towards me!OTHER DOGS: I am dog friendly and go to playgroup every day at the shelter!CATS: UnknownHER MATCH: I would do wonderfully with a family who needs a loving and sweet pup in their life! I would do great with another chill pup, but I could be the only dog as well! I just want someone to hang with and spend quality time together. I have so much love to share!SPECIAL NOTE: I love belly rubs!Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey.
