Story
Meet Goose the dog! He came to us when he was found behind a busy shop, then brought here to make sure he was safe. He did have a wound to his ear and right side of his neck, for which he has been treated while here and is healing nicely! Goose does such a great job for all of his treatments and exams!! he deserves a doggie sucker!!! Lots of them! This 2 year old, 66 pound German Short Haired Pointer mix is such a good boy to have gone through all that and still be the sweetheart he is! Now, for him to find his forever family to heal his heart from having been on his own for who knows how long! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption. For more information on Goose the handsome dog, please visit the shelter in person!

These pups are in Mooresville, North Carolina too!

Story
Hello! My name is Izzy. I am a deaf girl, but otherwise I’m just a happy go lucky puppy! I love to play with my toys(I love peanut butter kongs!) and my doggy friends. I have never meet a stranger!  I love all people. I know how to sit, shake and lay down. I walk pretty well on a head harness/easy walk lead. Again I’m still learning but I’m a very smart girl! I DO NOT like being in a crate it stresses me out. I would rather free roam, I am potty trained as long as you watch for my “cue” that I have to go out. After a long day of playing  I love cuddling with my foster parents. I am such a good girl and can't wait to meet you! Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
