Hi I’m Prongs! I’m at 7-8 month GSP mix and I’m looking for a home! I’m located in Cincinnati but I can be adopted in Columbus or here! I’m good with other dogs and got rescued with another dog named Padfoot! I have 2 brothers also with PAWS too! I like cats, they’re pretty interesting but I leave them alone once they’ve had enough of me. I’m a shy guy but I love people once I get to know them. I’d do better with older kids or calm younger ones as loud noises and sudden movements scare me. My favorite thing to do is lay in the grass out in the backyard so if you have a fenced in backyard, that would be awesome! But if you don’t that’s alright too! I’m learning to be in a home again as I’ve been a stray and haven’t been taught anything. I’m working on some commands, potty training, and walking on a leash. I like to go to the door when I need to go potty to let my foster mom know I need to go out. I do sleep in the crate when my foster family leaves and goes to bed but I do like to express my concerns and opinions for a little bit before I settle down. I really prefer a bed. Story

We adopted Pogo from MCARC in August because we were looking for a calm, family dog. He is a great dog but he is not getting on with our cats and vice versa. He gets very excited by them, and they get very stressed. In a month and a half, the interactions haven't improved. He is med-high energy, loves people and gets on with other dogs- he loves to run in the large dog area at the dog park. His favorite toys are things he can chew on- he is a very strong chewer! He does well in a crate and has not had any accidents that weren't our fault (only two). Our youngest is probably his favorite person but he has been great with both the kids. We want him to have a home where he can be with a family with no cats who can handle a dog that is energetic and athletic despite his age (7 years), where he can run around and live a life that is much better than what he has here being cooped up or leashed. He will come with all of his toys, accessories, medicine and food except the crate.
