Story
We are looking to rehome Remington to an experienced, adult-only home.Remington is a smart, loyal dog who bonds closely with his primary person. He does best in a calm, structured environment with clear boundaries. He has significant behavioral challenges that we have not been able to fully address, including:Reactivity and aggression toward unfamiliar people entering the homeResource guarding and defensive behavior when correctedIncreased reactivity toward women and children in the householdDue to these behaviors, he is not a good fit for a home with children and would do best in a quiet home with an experienced handler who understands behaviorally complex dogs.He has not received professional training due to financial limitations, but we believe he has the potential to improve with consistent, experienced guidance. This has been a difficult decision, but our priority is the safety of our family and finding the right environment where Remington can succeed.

Story
Sandy was found abandoned with her mom and six other puppies in Puerto Rico. They were taken in by a wonderful family in Puerto Rico who Fostered them and got them on a plane to Pennington New Jersey. They have been very well cared for from the day they were found. Sandy is a Sato, one of the best family dogs you could possibly find! Sandy is a super sweet little puppy who will make a wonderful addition to any family. She is about four months old and will likely be around 50 pounds as an adult. They have been well cared for and loved in their foster home. All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed. Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl. Initial contact with us must be made through e-mail. E-mail ARFofMercer@gmail.com directly for an adoption application or with any questions. Once your adoption application is approved, you will be invited to meet our dogs/puppies.

Story
KENNEL ID #18804Meet Pistol, a Golden Retriever and German Shorthair Pointer mix. He will turn 4 years old on April 9th. Pistol is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He weighs about 80 pounds and believes he’s a lap dog!  Pistol is housebroken and crate-trained. He gets along well with cats and most other dogs, making him a great companion. As a vigilant watchdog, he has lots of energy and loves to play and run around. His favorite toy is a squeaky chicken, and he enjoys playing fetch. When he’s not active, he loves to relax and receive belly rubs. Although Pistol was raised around children, he has recently become uncomfortable in their presence, and his warning growls can be intimidating for kids. Therefore, his owners are looking for a home without children. Transfer Fee $200Thank you for your interest in rescue. If you would like to be considered for adoption, please submit an application to adopt. If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG     CAT     BIRD      REPTILE       SMALL ANIMALS       June 13, 2026, 4:16 pm
