Story
Meet Guinness! This handsome 6-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer weighs 59 pounds and is ready to find a family to call his own after being surrendered. Guinness is everything you'd hope for in a companion—friendly, incredibly affectionate, and a world-class cuddlebug who would happily spend his day by your side. He's the kind of dog who forms strong bonds with his people and loves being part of whatever you're doing. Although he was never used for hunting, he definitely has the instincts of his breed, so squirrels are simply too tempting to ignore! Because of that, he'll need to stay on a leash or be in a securely fenced yard. Guinness has lived with another large dog and is currently thriving in a foster home with multiple dogs. He's done well with children ages 3 and up and can be cat tested if needed. He'll benefit from continued structure and training, but he's intelligent, eager to please, and should enjoy learning with his new family. He's currently eating Wellness fish-based dry food, which seems to help with what may be allergy-related skin issues in the past. If you're looking for a loyal, loving shadow who will happily cuddle as much as he hikes, Guinness is ready to meet you. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Story
We are looking to rehome Remington to an experienced, adult-only home.Remington is a smart, loyal dog who bonds closely with his primary person. He does best in a calm, structured environment with clear boundaries. He has significant behavioral challenges that we have not been able to fully address, including:Reactivity and aggression toward unfamiliar people entering the homeResource guarding and defensive behavior when correctedIncreased reactivity toward women and children in the householdDue to these behaviors, he is not a good fit for a home with children and would do best in a quiet home with an experienced handler who understands behaviorally complex dogs.He has not received professional training due to financial limitations, but we believe he has the potential to improve with consistent, experienced guidance. This has been a difficult decision, but our priority is the safety of our family and finding the right environment where Remington can succeed.

Story
There must have been a time when se was loved. You can see it in the way she sits so politely. The way she watches your face for direction. The way she understands "sit" and gentle correction. The way she knows a treat and how to earn it. And the way she adores cuddling! We're pretty sure she didn't end up being abandoned because she wasn't good enough. We wish we knew the story, but all we know is she was homeless and all the searching did not turn up her family! But here's what matters now- she is incredibly smart, she is house trained. She bonds quickly with her people. She has clearly lived in a home before. And she is waiting for that feeling again! If you have room in your home- and your heart- she is ready to give you everything she has! Penny is people focused, has a good energy level that a family offering mental stimulation and fun can easily offer her. Go hiking, go jogging....take her with you camping! She displays super loyal bonding with her person traits. Penny is stunning- athletic and lean. She has a very confident personality and would do best with a dog that is not dominant. We don't know if she's lived with other dogs, but she has successfully been with them where she was initially found. Located in New Jersey- come meet Penny and see if she's the dog for you!!

Story
Benny is truly a fantastic pup but unfortunately he’s not getting a long with our cats and it’s just become too much. He’s around 7 months. He’s very active, requires a lot of walks/exercise. He’s very good on the leash, but does try to chase bunnies & squirrels. He’s very good with my children (ages 7, 12, & 16). He does tend to play a little rough but that’s just his puppy behavior. I am not positive how he is with dogs yet. Would likely do best as a single pet. He has an upcoming vet appointment and will be up to date on shots after that. I do plan on getting him neutered unless he’s adopted before then. I will waive adoption fee if he’s taken before being neutered.
