Story
We are looking to rehome our dog, Maverick 💔 Maverick is 5 years old, neutered, and full of personality—he's a gps mix, he’s goofy, loyal, and loves his person deeply. He loves people (adults and has done well with older children). He thrives in a attentive, one-on-one environment. He loves to sleep on the couch and chase his tail. He needs someone that can keep up with his active lifestyle. He's kennel trained, leash trained and house broken. He would do best as the only pet and with an experienced owner. He can be protective and may resource guard, so we are not comfortable placing him in a home with children. Our family has grown with a child in the last year. With a small child at home, we feel it’s best for everyone to find Maverick a home where he can truly thrive. We will provide his kennel and all of his belongings. This has been a very hard decision, and we love him so much. We are not in a rush and want the right fit.We are open to meetings to ensure a serious and committed

Moose is a German Short Hair Pointer Doodle who is sweet and loving but also high energy. He needs someone who can give him time and attention. He will benefit from regular brushing and occasional grooming. He pays too much attention to cats but got along fine with other big and small dogs in the past. He was just updated on his vaccinations, was microchipped and was heart worm negative with a year’s supply of pills.

Story
Nori was named for the name in Hebrew meaning "Light". She was tied up to an old truck in the Rio Grande Valley and other dogs were attacking her on this huge, heavy chain. She was adopted but given away and now we have her.  She is about 1.5 years old and weighs about 25 lbs.  She is such a doll. She is a sweet, petite, very unique young dog.  At 23 lbs she is fully grown \!  She is a mini - she kind of looks like a Mini English Coonhound perhaps?  We don't know for sure but we do know she is adorable!    She is wonderful with other dogs and children and has a happy demeanor.  She has  gentle dispositio and desire to find her forever - human to follow around, cuddle and devote her love to for the rest of her life  Nori knows basic commands like sit and lie down, and also knows simple phrases such as "want to go potty?". "Want a bone?" She is potty trained.  As with any rescue, she will need time to adopt to her new home. She loves to do zoomies and would love a playmate!  Nori can be shy when meeting new people but never, ever aggressive and warms up super quick.  She just take a few minutes to relax.  The current owner works 14 hour days and so not fair to her.  She also loves a boy thrown or a toy to play with her owner.  Her favorite activity is playing with other dogs though.  She would love doggy day care too.  She's calm and well behaved and loves car rides.  We are looking for a forever home with someone home more than not She will be good with older children instead of toddlers only because she has never been around any.   She is light heartworm positive and we are treating her.Applications to foster or adopt Nori are at codysfriendsrescue.org ##2345154##
