Story
You haven’t lived until you’ve had Haku’s nose on your lap. This lovable spunky furbaby is looking for his forever home with a fenced yard/land to run on. Haku is a foster dog that is about 5 years old. He loves playing outside and running with all of his might. He plays well with kids and other dogs. While inside, he enjoys playing catch by throwing his stuffed toys up in the air and catching them or napping close his people. When he naps, he will curl up close to his favorite people all the while keeping them in his eye line. Haku is smart and knows several commands/prompts. He is potty/house trained and crate trained. His only special need is that he needs someone with patience. Please reach out because Haku is so eager to hear from you. 🐶💙

Or copy and paste this link into your browser...https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiryThis is the fast way to meeting your new pet.Hello my name is Clairee and I`m named after the Steele Magnolia movie. I`m very playful and love to get my energy out by running around with my siblings! I`d be very grateful if you made me your new family member and I`d even give you kisses in return for some belly rubs! I love to play with all of my toys, but my favorites are my Nylabone and Frisbee. I am already spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested and current on flea/tick prevention too! My dream would be to have a yard that i could run around in when i got the zoomies. My brother and I love to do that as much as we can , so I`d like to continue in my new home.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.

Story
Copper is a fantastic buddy that loves his people. He loves watching for squirrels and protecting the yard! Copper adores his “stuffies” and loves to do zoomies with them. Copper would also prefer a home without children. He enjoys a brisk walk, know how to sit and shake and loves to howl when he hears any siren! Copper has a good amount of energy, but also loves to relax with his humans. Soft plush blankets are his favorite, and he can barely wait for you to lay them out before he tries and snuggles in. Copper can be choosy about other dogs, but has lived with a large and small dog with success! If you are looking for a devoted companion, Copper is the guy for you. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Copper is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm

Story
Bodi is an one year old old mix breed pup, and we think he looks a lot like a Pointer/Boxer mix. This cute boy is all about fun, fun, fun! He loves going to the dog park and is friendly with every dog and person he meets. He also loves taking walks and has great leash manners. Again, friendly with every dog and person he meets along the way. He is a sweet boy that likes to play and then take a good long nap or cuddle up to his people. His favorite toy is a good chew bone. Bodi is not great with cats. He probably just wants them to play with them, but most cats will have no interest in playing with a goofy puppy. The first step to meeting Bodi is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Hank is a super sweet and goofy boy. He was found as a stray in the country, just trying to survive on his own. People were very mean to him when he would come around looking for food.  Because of this, he is very shy/nervous in new places and around new people, but non aggressive.   Once you win him over, he will give you his entire heart.  He is extremely loving and affectionate, quite the big baby. Hank is loyal, and goofy.  He loves to play and loves adventure. His smile as is big as Texas and his little under bite is one of the cutest things you'll see! He would do best in a low traffic home. He has been fostered with a small (very dog experienced) child and is great, but he is a bit hyper and clumsy at times and can accidentally knock a small child down, (he's 80lbs), so he would do best with older children.  He would thrive in a home with another dog to play with in a big back yard, but does require slow introductions as he is wary of new dogs at first.  He is rambunctious with his dog friends and needs a friend that tolerate his ruff house play!  He has been with other dogs ranging from 15-65lbs.  Hank does well with non confrontational cats! Hank has a (back) foot deformity.  We do not know if it was a birth defect or if something happened to him, but he only has one toe on his back foot, which contributes some to his clumsiness.  He has been on glucosamine and joint supplements his entire time in rescue and it is recommended he stays on them his entire life to prevent early arthritis because of his foot.  It is not expensive and can be bought over the counter. If you're interested in meeting this baby, please reach out or submit an application on our website. Story
Meet Cora!Cora is a petite, playful sweetheart who looks like a little Bambi and has the energy to match! At five years old, she’s got just the right mix of spunk and sweetness—don’t let her age fool you, because she can hang with the best of them! She even plays with puppies, proving she’s young at heart and always up for some fun.Cora tolerates her crate (begrudgingly), but she’d much rather be out and about, spending time with her favorite people and dog pals. She tested heartworm positive, she completed her treatment on April 2, 2025. She tolerated the treatment very well. Now, she is as good as new and ready to take on life’s next adventure. Cora is up to date on all her vaccines and has been spayed. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and resilient little companion, Cora is your girl! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
