Tucker is a true gem: likely a mix of German Short Hair and Catahoula, he seems to combine the best traits of both. He is perfectly socialized, house trained, loves other animals and people .... what else can you ask for? And what a handsome guy he is too! You will never regret adding this sweet young guy to your household!

Story
Petey walked onto a property in the country one day and let everybody know that he was not just visiting, but really intended to stay. This would have been perfectly fine with the human residents, but they want Petey to have the best possible life and felt this high energy young man needed to have someone younger than they are. GSP's are wonderful dogs who are very lovable and loving and are very trainable. They do have a high energy level and usually a strong prey drive. Training is definitely a must. They will reward you with unconditional love and loyalty.

Story
Meet Darla, the happiest little shadow you'll ever have! This sweetheart is full of energy, overflowing with affection, and happiest when she's right by your side. Whether she's following you from room to room, asking for extra pets, or curling up for snuggles, Darla's favorite place is wherever her people are. Rescued from the Mesquite Animal Shelter, Darla has embraced foster life with enthusiasm and a whole lot of love. She's crate trained, leash trained, and pee pad trained, making her well on her way to being an amazing companion. While she enjoys toys, she'd much rather trade playtime for belly rubs and attention. One of her funniest quirks? After taking a drink, she'll happily trot over to share her soggy kisses, wet nose, wet whiskers, and all! Darla would thrive in an active home where she'll have plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and, most importantly, spend time with her family. She has shown positive signs around both cats and dogs and would likely enjoy a playful canine companion or kids to help burn off some of her puppy energy. If you're looking for a fun-loving cuddle bug who will fill your days with laughter, affection, and lots of happy tail wags, Darla can't wait to meet you. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Nori was named for the name in Hebrew meaning "Light". She was tied up to an old truck in the Rio Grande Valley .She was adopted but given away and now we have her.  She is about 2.5 years old and weighs about 25 lbs.  She is such a doll. She is a sweet, petite, very unique young dog.  She is fully grown \!  She is a mini - she kind of looks like a Mini English Coonhound perhaps?  We don't know for sure but we do know she is adorable!    She is wonderful with other dogs and children and has a happy demeanor.  She has  gentle disposition and desires to find her forever - human to follow around, cuddle and devote her love to for the rest of her life  Nori knows basic commands like sit and lie down, and also knows simple phrases such as "want to go potty?". "Want a bone?" She is potty trained.  As with any rescue, she will need time to adopt to her new home. She loves to do zoomies and would love a playmate!  Nori can be shy when meeting new people but never, ever aggressive and warms up super quick.  She just take a few minutes to relax.    She also loves a boy thrown or a toy to play with her owner.  Her favorite activity is playing with other dogs though.  She would love doggy day care too.  She's calm and well behaved and loves car rides.  We are looking for a forever home with someone home more than not She will be good with older children instead of toddlers only because she has never been around any.   She is light heartworm positive and we are treating her.Applications to foster or adopt Nori are at codysfriendsrescue.org ##2345154##

Story
Reba may look like a chunky little couch potato, but she’s really a big-hearted survivor. After a rough start to life raising puppies in a junkyard, she’s traded rust and scraps for soft beds and full bowls—and she couldn’t be happier. This lovable “house hippo” is all about being close to her people, whether that’s keeping you company indoors or following you into the yard. She’s weaned her babies now, but she still likes to stay near and soak up the comfort she’s found. Reba enjoys easygoing pack walks, belly rubs, and simply being part of your daily life. She’s ready to be someone’s loyal shadow, constant companion, and snuggle buddy for life.

Story
Meet Rey - Strong, Independent, and Ready for Adventure Like her Star Wars namesake, Rey is a survivor. She beat parvo at just 8 weeks old and has been thriving ever since here at Flying B. She’s the quiet observer of our pack — independent, thoughtful, and always taking it all in before jumping in. Rey recently befriended a more outgoing rescue dog, who’s shown her the joys of snuggling, and now she’s learning that affection is pretty great, too. Rey is curious and bright, learning how to be a good pup one day at a time. She loves exploring during pack walks and would thrive in a home with a yard where she can sniff, roam, and stretch those explorer legs. If you’re looking for a smart, sweet soul with a gentle spirit and a spark of adventure—Rey is ready for her next chapter.

Story
Meet Powder! Skin and bones when he was found, Powder is now living large at Flying B—literally and figuratively. This boy LOVES to eat and gobbles up every meal like it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to him. (And honestly, it might’ve been!) We know he’ll learn that food will always be there for him from now on. Powder is young, playful, and happiest when he’s part of the pack—running, playing, and soaking up all the love and attention. He recently lost part of his tail due to “happy tail” gone wild. We tried everything to save it, but ultimately, a little tail amputation was the best (and safest) choice. Now he rocks his little nub like a champ—and we think it just makes him even more adorable. Powder is pure sweetness and is so ready for a forever family to call his own. Could it be you?
