Story
Hello there! I'm Guppy! I am a 5 year old, male, 33 pound, pointer mix. I was adopted as a puppy and returned because my owner didn't have time for me. I am a sweet, friendly, and loving boy. After a few slim jims, I'm ready to be your best friend! We can play and run around! And if I really like you, I might even cuddle with you. I would not be good in a house with small kids because I can get startled by fast movements. My perfect home would give me plenty of time and patience to warm up and be my true self! Could you be the person for me?Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. The best way to get in touch with us is by email: info@secondchancespca.org. Due to the volume of calls, only the most urgent calls will be returned. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Story
Seamus is a big boy at over 80 lbs, but he is just one big old hunk of love. He is a very smart guy too and, after apparently having been dumped on a country road, set out and found himself some very nice humans who took him in out of the cold and made sure he was ok. He is very grateful and shows that with lots of love and kisses. His big hope is that he will soon be in a furever home where he can stay for the rest of his life! Can it be yours?

Lutz is a young boy who came to us with Mom and siblings when he was just a baby. Can you believe he is still with us at the rescue? He is approaching his first birthday, and we so hope he can celebrate it in a furever home! Lutz is a solidly built guy, is good on leash, and gets along great with other dogs. He loves attention and being scratched behind his ears, but can also entertain himself. He loves toys, especially those he ca chew on for a while. Come meet him or one of his siblings who are also still waiting for a loving family!@ Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement.
