She’s loving, calm, and so well-behaved—truly the kind of dog that makes fostering feel easy. Rain was found as a stray and was lovingly cared for in a foster home before coming to the rescue, and it shows—she’s potty trained, well-mannered, and gets along great with other dogs. She’s the perfect mix of soft, affectionate, and easygoing, and she’s ready to bring that peaceful energy into her forever home.

Meet Quill! 💙🐾 Quill is a 4-year-old, 21-pound Schnauzer with a shy nature and a warm, hopeful heart. He’s the most cheerful of the three brothers who were found dumped together—matted, scared, and abandoned… but despite his past, Quill’s happy little spirit still shines through. Quill is good with both people and other dogs, and he especially enjoys hanging out with female dogs. He loves cuddles, kisses, and gentle companionship, but he does best when other dogs around him aren’t playing rough, as that makes him uncomfortable. Because Quill is still building confidence, he will need a patient adopter who can give him time to settle in and feel safe. He’s currently afraid of crossing doorways and may hesitate with anything that changes texture (like transitioning from carpet to tile, stepping over thresholds, or climbing down from furniture). With reassurance and consistency, he can absolutely continue to improve. ✅ Crate trained — sleeps great in his crate 🚫 Not house trained yet — will need help learning a routine Quill is going to thrive in a calm home with loving people who understand that trust takes time—but once he bonds with you, you’ll have the sweetest little shadow.

Hi, my name is Jimmy and I am from Arkansas. This sweet 13-year-old gentleman is the definition of a good boy. He is potty trained, crate trained, and wonderfully dog-friendly. He has been absolutely lovely with small children, even babies, showing a calm, gentle nature that makes him a joy to have around. When left home alone, he’s so well behaved that he doesn’t even need to be crated, though he truly enjoys having his crate as a cozy spot for naps and would happily use it anytime. Though his face may be silver, his spirit is still bright and youthful! He has the enthusiasm of a much younger dog, paired with the wisdom of age. His legs sometimes remind him he’s a senior, especially on stairs or when he gets excited, so a home with patience and a little extra support would be ideal. He appears to be partially deaf and can be startled if approached unexpectedly, but he does hear louder sounds and navigates the world just fine with visual cues and consistency. He prefers gentle handling and doesn’t enjoy having his shoulders, legs, or paws touched, but he has never shown aggression — simply communicating his boundaries in a polite, respectful way. This kind, affectionate old soul would thrive in a loving home that appreciates senior dogs for the treasures they are.
