💙 Meet Duvall
Duvall is a stunning young Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix with striking blue eyes, a gorgeous blonde coat, and a personality that's every bit as big as his beautiful smile.
His journey began when he was found alone and brought to safety, and now this handsome boy is looking for a home that can help him continue growing into the amazing dog he's meant to be.
Duvall is incredibly people-oriented and loves being part of the action. He's affectionate, intelligent, and always ready to join you on an adventure. Whether it's exploring a new trail, going for a long walk, learning new tricks, or simply hanging out with his favorite humans, Duvall is happiest when he's included.
Like many young working-breed dogs, Duvall has plenty of energy, intelligence, and enthusiasm. His ideal family will understand that dogs like Duvall don't just need exercise—they need an outlet. He's happiest when he has opportunities every day to run, explore, learn, and use his brain. Long walks, hikes, games of fetch, training sessions, puzzle toys, scent work, and interactive play aren't just fun for Duvall—they're essential for helping him feel fulfilled and bringing out the very best in him. A home that embraces an active lifestyle and enjoys including their dog in daily adventures would be an excellent match.
Duvall enjoys being around other dogs, but he's still learning appropriate play manners. His play style is energetic, physical, and sometimes a little over-the-top. He'll do best with confident canine companions his size or larger who enjoy active play and are comfortable giving appropriate canine corrections when he gets a little too enthusiastic. With continued guidance, structure, and training, Duvall has every opportunity to become a wonderfully well-mannered companion.
He's crate trained, keeps his crate clean, and settles nicely when left alone. Duvall is eager to learn and would thrive with an adopter who enjoys working with intelligent breeds and understands the importance of providing both physical exercise and mental enrichment.
A securely fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus, but even more important is a family committed to meeting the needs of a high-energy working breed. Duvall will thrive with adopters who understand that regular physical exercise, mental enrichment, consistent training, and plenty of opportunities to run, explore, play, and put his sharp mind to work are essential for his happiness and success.
