She stopped, scooped him up, kept him safe… and waited. But no one ever came forward to claim this beautiful boy — so now he’s ready for a real forever family. And let’s just get this out of the way: Duvall is breathtaking. Soft blonde fur, striking blue eyes, and that big, sweet smile — he turns heads everywhere he goes. Personality-wise, he’s the total package: 🐾 Very sweet and affectionate - loves humans! 🐾 Dog-friendly 🐾 Cat-friendly 🐾 Unknown with kids, but has a gentle nature 🐾 Loves walks and gets excited to explore 🐾 Energetic, especially on leash, but he’s smart and eager to learn Duvall is a Husky/Pyrenees mix through and through — gorgeous, social, and full of life. He’ll thrive with someone who loves adventures, long walks, and a dog who’s equal parts beauty and heart. Story
Chase has learned to live with our cat & I've seen him play well with small dogs. He does have medium/big dog fear aggression. I asked previous owner if he had been bitten by another dog or a wild animal, they said no. He has been a part of our family for 3.5 years & isn't as reactive with other dogs as he used to be. That's to say, if he is a good distance he doesn't growl and lunge as much. Chase needs an experienced adopter with plenty of room to roam in his own private yard without medium/big dogs nearby. I have talked with a couple of trainers & they think it's likely he can be trained out of his fear aggression. This would be from a knowledgeable owner or trained professional. He loves people & attention. I would caution that he isn't in a home with small children just because he hasn't lived with young children in our home or with original owner. He really is very sweet like Golden Retrievers are known for, he just has some special needs.
