Samson is a 1 year old puppy who needs a loving family, specifically with a yard! He loves running and playing tag with the other dogs at the dog park. He still has the excited tinkles, for example when we get the leash out or when we come home and greet him. He loves cuddles in the evening before bed time. He is a super quick learner, and knows several tricks! He also knows that when the TV gets shut off, it’s bed time in his kennel! He specifically needs a new home with a yard or lots of land, he is a high maintenance breed and without the availability to run his energy out, he will misbehave and destroy the home.

What can we say about Nutmeg except cuteness plus!?! She is a seven-week-old puppy that came to our rescue when she was surrendered to a shelter. We believe that she is probably a husky mix. She will be on the smaller side for a Husky. She is all the things the best puppies are: playful, loves her foster’s other dogs, loves her puppy chow, sleeps wherever she is and decides it is time for a nap and is soft and cuddly when sleepy. She is taking meet and greets now! Who wants to meet this previous girl?

I got Kia when she was 6 months old, back when I was in high school. She's now 6 years old, born in August 2018. She's a very well-behaved, sweet dog. She's house-trained and lets you know when she needs to go to the bathroom by barking. She loves getting love and attention and gets along very well with children and other dogs. I'm not sure about cats because she hasn't been around any. I'm looking for a new home for her because we can't keep her anymore, and we're not giving her the attention she needs. I want to find someone who can take better care of her than I can. During the summer, flies bit her ears, even though we gave her something for it, and they're a little damaged, but she's fine now and they've healed. She's also a great companion and loves being inside the house as well as going outside.

Meet Balto, the calm cool and collected pup ready to join your home! Balto is a cool, chill little guy with the sweetest face. He shows his love in quiet ways, often gazing up at you with soft, adoring eyes. While he enjoys cuddling from time to time, he’s also perfectly happy to relax on his own. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs, and his patient, kind nature makes him wonderful with kids. Balto is also a very fast learner, already showing how smart and eager to please he is. Balto is doing great with outdoor potty training, walks nicely on a leash, and loves getting out for strolls. He also goes into his kennel without any fuss! This sweet-natured boy would do well in many types of homes, but he would especially love one where he can spend time outside or enjoy regular playtime with people or other pets. Please note that we do require dogs to meet all members of the family including existing pets in the home before finalizing during your in home adoption. Katmai is heartworm positive and looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home! She is 2 years old, spayed, 44 pounds, and up to date on all other vetting. Despite her past, Katmai is the sweetest girl on the planet that is full of love! Katmai was found living outside with her 6 puppies on the coldest day of the year! There were multiple reports saying she had been in the area for a while and that the 6 puppies were not her first litter. We quickly jumped to action to get them safe and warm and on their journey to furever homes. The puppies got all their required vetting and went off to their happily ever afters, but poor, sweet Katmai still has another obstacle to overcome in her heartworm treatment. Treating heartworms is a lengthy and expensive process and we are committed to helping her get rid of them! However, she would recover much faster in a home environment rather than our facility. She is sad and stressed in the shelter as she's not used to being cooped up around lots of other animals. She would love nothing more than to have a human to snuggle and adventure with. Meet Dara — a 4-month-old Akita mix puppy with a heart full of love and a bright future ahead of her. Dara and her siblings were left behind in a kennel when their owner was incarcerated, starting life with uncertainty that no puppy deserves. She is still learning that the world can be a safe place — and once she believes that, her personality really starts to shine. She can be timid and fearful at first, especially with new people or environments. But give her a little time, patience, and a calm approach, and you’ll get to see the sweetest, funniest side of her. One of her favorite things? Carrying her toys around everywhere — it’s adorable and very much her thing. Dara is learning how to “dog” by watching the other dogs around her, and she’s doing great. She enjoys being near her people but isn’t overly clingy — she’ll gently come up and ask for attention and pets in the sweetest, most polite way. She truly is a gentle soul. She is potty trained and crate trained, and she does very well in her crate. She’s typically quiet, only speaking up if she needs to go out to potty.
