Hi I'm Bear Bear does enjoy his people once he’s built trust, but he’s not the kind of dog who will enjoy dog parks or busy homes. He prefers quiet companionship and a stable environment. He’s extremely lovable once he trusts you and will give lots of kisses. He has coexisted with a few calm dogs in his current home under supervision, but he generally doesn’t like high-energy or dominant dogs and is happiest without other dogs around. He walks well on leash and isn’t reactive. Enjoys are rides and hikes. He can jump 4-5 foot fences and shouldn’t have free roam of yard until fully bonded with new owner. Has mild anxiety in new places, but handles it quietly. Bear is vocal when it’s feeding time because he gets so excited and also when his people come home. Bear will do best with someone who understands that bonding takes time—and that the payoff is a sweet, loyal companion who just wants a peaceful home. If interested in meeting Bear please contact his foster Jessica jessica.garcia5565@gmail.com phone: 832.977.3224May 25, 2025, 10:50 pm

Come to meet her at our Adoption event: Cardiff Dog Days of Summer Sunday, July 21, 2024 10:00 AM 3:00 PM Encinitas Community Park 425 Santa Fe Dr.Encinitas, CA It is a free huge event; with lot of entertainment for the whole family!! Age: 3 1/2 months old Sex: Female Size: Once full grown: Medium Breed: Golden Retriever/Shepherd hybrid blend Let's take a look at Ingrid, an exceptional puppy, the firstborn of a litter of six. Demonstrating her independence early on, she was the first to open her eyes and explore the world around her. Now around two months old, Ingrid has already shown remarkable intelligence and trainability, promising to become a wonderful companion. Born on Easter day, March 31, 2024, Ingrid inherited her mother's golden retriever genes, bringing with her the breed's friendly and loyal nature. Although her father's identity remains unknown, because mama was rescued when pregnant; one thing is certain: Ingrid is 100% pure good girl. Alongside her siblings, she enjoys listening to music and falling asleep to Disney movies, creating a heartwarming bedtime routine. Ingrid is growing rapidly and is eager to find her forever home, where she can continue to thrive and bring joy to her new family. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and well-behaved addition to your household, Ingrid is the perfect choice. Although she is a baby; you can tell all the wonderful traits she has to offer & bring to her new forever family. Ingrid is also crate trained, and working on her potty training:) Mama has been adopted by the foster family, and brother Tanner as well - however, there are 2 more girls, and 2 boys plus Ingrid waiting for their forever home. Ready to open your home for this sweet fur baby? If so, please complete an application at AngelsForDogsAndCatsRescue.org Once you have completed the application, please text our Adoptions Team at 619-576-0747 and let us know you have completed it and want to do a follow up – we will review your application, and if approved we will be contacting you to set up an Adoption Meet & greet meeting. Story
Meet Six!  He came to us after spending six months on a hill after escaping the shelter where he was housed.  Two months prior, he had been relinquised by a family reporting his primary peson for his first four years of life had passed away.  He was confused, scared and took off while on a walk with a volunteer.  With no sightings for months it was assumed he was gone forever until that first call came in of a dog needing help.  Six had taken up residence in the rough terrain of a college campus hillside where he could avoid the high traffic area with cars and people, he could stay hidden and come and go without being noticed.  Once trapped and identfied as the dog assumed gone forever we planned a way to make space so his shelter days were over and his rehab could begin. Six came to us clearly having had human experiences.  He knew Sit, Shake and once feeling safe welcomed touch, affection and even liked to lean.  Unfortunately due to a lack of life exposure before his shelter expeerience, trauma from six months on his own in survival mode or a combination of both Six struggled with anything beyond a calm and controlled environment.  He has spent the last few months working on his confidence and now enjoys his outings and is on the regular list of participants for pack walks and adoption events.  He LOVES food, is eager to please (or always seeks to not do wrong) and learns quickly with a calm approach.  He still struggles with meeing new men but once sure he is safe lets them completely in.  Don't let his age fool you.  He still acts lke he's two and looks forward to every opportunity to be the center of attention, play with those around him and avoids conflict with other dogs. He is now ready to graduate to a foster or foster to adopt home where he can refresh his real life skills rather than continue in a kennel setting.  He would do best with a neutral and balanced dog.  Due to his confidence building older children would be best.  He is an extreme flight risk so someone as committed to his safety as loving. him is a must.  Because of my Flight Risk I cannot be left unattended in a yard, crate training is a must when you are gone, tight grip on the leash is a must on adventures and my new family must be aware of open doors and windows.  No off leash activites for life in unfenced areas.  I need to stay safe.  Are you ready to help me land my forever? ##1958533##
