Story
Hi! I'm Ernie! I was rescued by two dog lovers from a high kill shelter in Apple Valley. I'm a little shy at first but I loveeeee to play! I'm very responsive to yummy treats and my foster parents are crate training me. I sleep through the night and during the day they put me in the crate for naps or if they go on errands. I am very good at going to the bathroom on puppy pads so potty training will be a breeze. I've met the neighborhood kids and love to play with them too! I am 11 weeks old and have beautiful green eyes and a thick coat. I'm a little bit of a chunk too. I cannot wait to meet my forever home! I am likely a husky/golden mix but my owners are not sure. Can't wait to meet!

Story
Hi everyone, Im trying to rehome my 9 month old puppy. She is spunky, weird, a diva and loves to make you work for her attention. She loves playing and running during walks but only when its windy or cool. She hates the heat. She has medium length hair that isn't hard to maintain but be prepared for a lot of shedding. She is extremely friendly she loves cats, dogs and people but would be better in a home as an only pet unless you can find a way to separate their water. She has water obsession (might need to be on med to manage it) and some behavioral issues. As much as I’d love to keep her but we have had a hard time accommodating to her needs. She is house trained and crate trained. To get a head start in a new home shell come with all her items, pet insurance and license valid till next year.

Story
Skye will be 2 in November. She is very sweet and has a lot of energy. She went to a 6 week dog training program where she learned some basic commands. She is very nice to people and children but has so much energy sometimes that she can jump up on people when she’s excited. She has never shown any aggression towards people but she does have some issues with resource guarding and has lashed out at our other dog when there is food or something they were both trying to get. I strongly recommend her being an only dog. She is crate trained. I will give you the crate we have. The place we trained her in Oceanside will board her pretty much any time for $150/night and provide supplemental training while she is there. They owe us a home visit we can schedule for your home. We have 2 young children and our other dog is old so Skye doesn’t get as much attention as she deserves. She pulls a little bit on leash in the beginning on walks but chills after a bit.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bear Is Looking For A Forever Home!! A little over 3 years, Bear has patiently been waiting for his forever family to find him. He came to our rescue as an owner surrender who within the first 9 months of his life never received any formal training. No training meant no control and Bear decided he was in charge…a behavior that could’ve been avoided and that can be fixed with the right training! Bear is a high energy, sweet 4 year old golden retriever/lab mix who is crate and house trained, enjoys socializing with other dogs, and knows his basic commands like “sit” and “where’s the ball?” While we are still working on some bad manners like jumping up and resource guarding; we have determined that Bear will do best in a home with older, considerate kids as he can also be mouthy sometimes. Bad manners don’t mean bad dog; Bear is a good dog who needs an experienced owner to give him a job to do in a structured environment and who will help show him how to continue being the good boy that we know he is.  If interested in adopting Bear, please email us at labradorsandfriends@yahoo.com or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org.  Bear is located in Southern California.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2025, 12:19 am
