Story
This sweet girl was hit by a car in the streets of Tijuana and left to fend for herself for god knows how long... she was found and relinquished into our care and her leg was so infected to the point of no return.. the vet did an extensive check up to see if anything could be done before coming to the conclusion of amputating.. she is a tripawd, her back right leg was the one removed. She gets along very well and is extremely sweet, oh so loving and looking for her forever home.

Story
Milo is a loving, goofy guy. He has experienced some disappointments in his life. When he firsts meets you, he might be a little shy and stand-offish. He just needs time to trust. Under that reserve, he loves walks, he loves to ride in the car . he has a silly side. Look beyond his initial reserve. This guy is golden! He loves to be close. He will cuddle on the bed if you let him and he just wants to belong to someone. He does do best with a woman, but he will share his love with a man. He is waiting for his forever home. Oh,and yes, he would like a dog buddy to play with! No kids under 16th years old, he need at least a person that works from home or is retired. Need to have a home with a yard. Story
With all she is going through we could not imagine seeing her through what lies ahead. These are words spoken by Dahlia's foster family. Dahlia is one of our Hospice Senior dogs and we hope you will support her care by making a donation at www.labsandmore.org . This Golden Retriever/Shepherd who was 9 year old was rescued from a remote shelter in CA. This small shelter receives little support for dogs in need like Dahlia. She was bleeding and her kennel floor was covered in blood so even though she was a stunning and sweet dog everyone passed her by. Labs and More could not just walk by, that day we rescued two senior girls one of them being Dahlia. It only took a short time to realize she was bleeding from her rectum and we knew that was not good news. After several visits to a specialist hospital sadly Dahlia was diagnosed with an untreatable form of Colon Cancer and her time with us was short term. She will need ongoing medicine and care to keep her comfortable until her time comes. This news was heartbreaking and was met with many tears. The families who were interested in adopting her felt they could not move forward and all adoptions for her dried up. We knew an adoption for her was not to be. We are so blessed with the Volunteers at Labs and More as Dahlia will have an amazing life with her foster who adores her. Dahlia thinks her foster home is her home and so does her foster family. She is part of our family and we cannot imagine her not having us by her side when she needs us the most. Please help us provide the needed care for our Hospice and Senior Dogs by donating at www.labsandmore.org Thank you! Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for looking to Adopt a Labrador Retriever or other Mixed Breed Dog from California Labradors Retrievers and More Rescue. Please take a moment and go to www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt to complete our online dog adoption application. If you have any questions email us at doginfo@labsandmore.org or call us at 858-273-5386. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life!
