Story
We received Maverick as a gift, as a puppy, almost 4 years ago. He is overall very gentle and well-behaved. He appears to have a little anxiety, and needs a lot of reassurance. He has done well with our children from 6 years to 18, and has never been aggressive towards people. He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. He does like to sleep on the couch, or our kids beds, and is known for occasionally swiping food from the counter top. We are deciding to rehome him because there is some growing aggression between him and our old German Shepherd female, and our younger Corgi. We feel he would be best in a home with no other dogs. He does fine with cats. There is no adoption fee. We just ask for a good and loving home. More pictures or video on request. Thank you.

Story
Lemon is a truly special 6 year old Purebred Golden Retriever. She was adopted from Golden Heart Breeders in North Carolina. Lemon is wonderfully behaved and great with children. She is reactive to other dogs outside the home, often snapping at dogs that get too close at the dog park. Despite that, she has done wonderfully with the other dog that we have in our home, Bean, an 11 year old Lab mix that we are also trying to rehome. Unfortunate circumstances arose when I was divorced and traveled across the country from California to my home state very suddenly in 2020. Since then, we have been uncomfortably managing. I now have a 7mo infant, two full time jobs to keep food on the table, and virtually no help in a tiny apartment. Heartbreakingly, I can no longer afford to support them financially or timewise. Lemon and Bean both deserve better than what I can give them...I know it is a mountainous request, but having both Bean and Lemon adopted together would mean the world to me.
