Story
Meatball is a 7 year old Golden Retriever mix. This sweet older gentleman is confused as to how he found himself at the shelter, and to be honest, so are we. He was picked up on Christmas Eve by one of our Animal Control officers, and we just thought for sure someone would be missing his sweet face! But unfortunately, no one has come for our sweet Meatball. Now, he is ready for adoption and hoping to find his chance at furever! Meatball is a very sweet guy who would love to find a home where he has both a yard and soft bed. Even at 7 years old, he still enjoys being active sometimes. . Meatball absolutely does not act his age. He gets the crazy zoomies, is VERY excited to meet new people and explore new places, and gave himself a whole behind-the-scenes tour of Underground Books. He enjoys sitting like a human in the passenger seat, and loves loves loooves pup cups. He walks well on a leash and seems to be very smart. Meatball's future family needs to remember that he is an older boy, almost considered a senior, but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve as much love as these younger dogs! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
