Story
TIA ~~ Spayed Female, Golden Retriever/Russian Hound, Chestnut and White, 90 lbs, DOB: September 2020 Come and meet this Angel and give her the home she is looking for. If you are a fan of large dogs with a lot of personality, come and meet Tia! Tia was rescued from being euthanized by a high volume animal control facility in the Fall of 2023. She was driven all the way from Alabama by her foster so that we could take her in and find her a wonderful forever home. If you are looking for a truly amazing companion, come and meet Tia, as she is still looking for her forever home. Tia is the sweetest girl who loves both pets and people and has never met a stranger. This girl is an absolute angel with a heart of gold and the disposition to back it up. She would enjoy living with another dog and even some kids, and would love to have a fenced yard of her own to play in. She loves her stuffed animals and carries them around and sleeps with them. Tia will not do well in a home with small animals or cats. She will do best with someone who is strong enough to handle a large dog. Tia would love a secure fenced backyard to run around and play in. She can be a bit of an escape artist and would do best with a safe place to play. Tia does well on the leash and is a really good dog. Tia has been spayed, microchipped, is house broken, knows how to sit and lay, is current on vaccinations and vet services, She is current on her monthly heartworm, flea-tick prevention and is healthy and heartworm free. Her adoption fee is $130 and includes one month of heartworm, flea-tick prevention, which she will need to remain on for life. What her foster had to say about Tia: “I have worked with dogs for a while now and I would say that Tia is the sweetest dog that I have ever met. She is just a big love bug. Tia is always smiling and her tail is always wagging. I have been to the bark park with her and she plays wonderfully with the other dogs and kids. There is not an aggressive bone in her body. Tia just wants to be loved. I know that everyone says this, but she truly deserves a great family, because she will make them so incredibly happy. Tia follows me around like she is my shadow and loves to snuggle.” To meet Tia and see if she is your perfect match, visit her at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays.

Story
Cupcake is a young, affectionate prize of a puppy. Her foster says that she's near perfect as a house guest. She is getting close to potty trailed, has never soiled her crate and almost always waits to go outside to do her business. She is as curious, energetic and playful as you'd expect of a weeks-old pup. She sleeps through the night and rarely barks to get out of her crate. She loves the 3 older dogs she's with, is curious about the 2 cats (who have set clear boundaries) and loves to go out in the yard and enjoy the outdoors. She's about to start some casual leash training. Cupcake will be a gift to whomever opens their hearts and home to her. Each puppy has an adoption fee of $330. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. If you want to know more about Cupcake, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
