Meet our adorable herb garden litter! We are happy, playful puppies who got a second chance thanks to a kind Samaritan who found our mama living under a tree, where she had dug a little hole to keep us safe. That’s how we got our gardening herb names! Our foster mama says we are sweet, high-energy love bugs who are always ready for fun and cuddles. We love everyone — kids, other dogs, toys, and playtime are totally our jam! Our mama appears to be a Lab mix, but since we all look a little different, we’re not exactly sure what breeds make up our adorable crew. One thing we do know for sure: we are super cute and ready to find loving forever homes of our own! Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Beary is a 4.5 year old RetreiverShepherd mix. He takes his time warming up to people, but is a very affectionate and intelligent dog! He has completed training courses with ease and knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, down, leave it, spin, shake, “wait” before jumping in or out of a car, and “climb” for staying on an elevated pet bed. He’s house trained and crate trained and is eager to please. Beary loves the outdoors, walks, fetch, and has played on agility equipment, but his favorite place is wherever you are! He also loves snuggle time and will be your #1 cuddle bug. While Beary is a very good boy, he would do best in a home without any other dogs or young children. He does not like to share his toys or his beds with other dogs, but does well at parks or in outside places around others. He also picks and chooses his people, but will warm up with gentle patience and treats. Once he decides you’re a friend, he will enthusiastically give you all his love! Beary would do best in a quiet home without other animals or children for him to worry about. He wants to receive all the love of the home, and is a very good boy who would thrive with someone looking for an active, well-trained best friend. If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Beary’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. While he can be affectionate and loyal with adults, he has displayed signs of anxiety, reactivity, and discomfort when interacting with young children. Despite efforts to manage and improve these behaviors, it has become clear that Buddy would be better suited to a home without children, where he can feel more secure and less stressed. Meet Truffles -“The Ears Have It!” Few critters in the animal kingdom have ears that can move separately, up/down, folded, or crisscrossed. The magnificent Truffles is one of the few! This gorgeous, friendly, athletic gal is endowed with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, one or both of her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. Truffles was born with a genetic condition called mega esophagus that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She sits in her chair for 15 -20 minutes after eating. She cannot have treats. And that is it! You might notice her throat moving like a bullfrog when she is sleeping, due to the enlarged esophagus, but that is nothing to worry about. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. More Attributes!
