Story
Meet Loving Levi, an affectionate  3-year-old, 55-pound Goldendoodle with a heart as big as his fluffy curls! Levi is searching for a forever home with a fenced yard and a playful dog companion companion or two. Full of life, love, and loyalty—the three “L’s” that inspired his name—this charming boy will be your loyal, fun-loving friend. Levi thrives on companionship and will happily be your “Velcro dog,” always close by. He adores humans and other animals alike, and while he’s not a fan of being left alone for long, he’s calm and content in his foster home, spending time with his furry friends when his foster mom is away. When she’s home, Levi loves curling up by her feet as she works, and he’ll always greet you with enthusiasm and kisses, making you feel truly appreciated! With his soft poodle coat and an adorable white patch on his forehead (perfect for giving kisses!), Levi is as sweet as he is handsome. Although he currently doesn’t live with kids, Levi is always gentle and polite around them, making him a wonderful addition to any family. He’s well-mannered in his foster home, uses the doggie door to go outside. Car rides and walks are some of his favorite activities, and he’s ready to join you on every adventure. Levi is a healthy boy—neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and microchipped. He’s just waiting for a family to share his endless love and loyalty. Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) dedicated to saving high-risk animals like Levi. As part of our mission, we travel to the Northeast weekly, bringing pets like Levi closer to their forever families. For more about our drop-off points and times, visit www.CritterCavalry.com. Story
Sammy is a very special boy who’s never known the stability and love every dog deserves — but we’re determined to change that.   This beautiful Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix came into a rural Tennessee shelter as a stray in the fall of 2024, just over a year old. Life finally seemed to turn around when he was adopted that December, but heartbreak struck again. On July 1st, 2025, Sammy’s adoptive family lost their home and were forced to move into a small camper. At 75 pounds, there simply wasn’t room for Sammy — and with heavy hearts, they returned to the shelter for help.   Thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in, and a miracle foster named Alyssa opened her heart and home to him. Sammy walked in with his usual gentle, submissive nature, as if he knew he was being given another chance. He’s been thriving in foster care with other dogs, soaking up the comfort and kindness he’s longed for his whole life.   Sammy is the kind of dog you can’t help but fall in love with. He’s incredibly sweet, calm, and affectionate — soft to the touch and even softer in spirit. He walks beautifully on a leash and draws attention wherever he goes thanks to his stunning looks and soulful eyes. But more than that, he draws hearts in with his quiet plea for permanence and love.   We’ve promised Sammy that his next home will be forever. His dream home includes:   A fenced yard to safely explore A soft bed to call his own A family who won’t leave him alone for long hours And most of all — commitment and unconditional love     Sammy is ready to be your loyal companion, your gentle best friend, your heart dog.   Interested in adopting Sammy? Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Let us know your city and state — we transport from Nashville to the Northeast and adopt locally in Tennessee and out-of-state as well.   Sammy is ready. He just needs someone who’s ready to love him forever. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 13, 2025, 11:32 am

Story
We are looking for a loving, committed home for our 4-year-old male Golden Retriever/English Bullterrier & her male counterpart (brother). This has been an incredibly hard and emotional decision. While we have had the best four years together, we’ve now reached a season in our life that isn’t conducive for furry friends nor a life that is joyful for them- and they deserve more than we can give right now. Pictured here, Daya is full of life, adventurous, playful, and the sweetest girl. She & her brother, born in the same litter, are bound by the hip and each other’s best friend. They are both crate trained, potty trained, and also follow some verbal commands. Leo loves sleeping on hard cold surfaces, although he likes fluffy pillows at times. Daya loves sleeping on blankets and or pillows with nighttime snuggles with her favorite human. Playing with each other is their favorite thing! They love to be out in nature, play well with other dogs and are great with children of all sizes.
