Story
My name is Milo Magoo and I am a 3 year old Golden Doodle with a birthday that is coming in the next few days… to turn 3 yrs. old.  I weigh 80 pounds and I am looking for an attentive and dog training family that will really shape and polish me to be the spectacular dog that I have the potential to be.  My current family really has no time to work with me to shape me in to a dog with great manners and emotional control.   I am bored in this home and I need physical and mental stimulation and fun challenges to do.  I am very happy, sweet, and very active with running and playing.  I am a male that is ALL BOY and if I had my wish I would say to adopt me if you have a girl dog in the family.   I would love to have a girlfriend for life!  When I am bored my favorite, yet dangerous, thing to do is eat socks.  So please watch that if you take me home.  It is totally out of boredom.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is tryng to change all this by placing me in the right home that they will review closely.   I am a silver tawny coloring and people just ohhhhh and ahhhhh over the color of my coat of  hair.  If you would like to adopt me please email right away at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Mention in the email where you live!!!   That helps so much too.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 19, 2024, 1:52 pm

Story
Hello world!   I am so excited to tell you my story of being saved from a shelter that was under siege from parvo.  I survived and I was broken out of the shelter by Critter Cavalry Rescue after spending 4 weeks there and hoping to live through it all. My name is Bridgette and I am about 5 months old and weigh 28 pounds.  They say I have all sorts of breeds probably in my blood line.  They say I looks like a Golden Retriever mix or an Aussie mix or a little Chow or just the best of what God could create.  My foster mom just loves my confidence and my small size and stature but my BIG personality.  How big will I be when I grow up? Who knows except that my foster mom says I have enough cute and cuddles for any size.  I think I will be 40-45 pounds and the perfect size to fit in just about anywhere.  Since I have gotten out of the shelter, I am crate-trained, but still working on the housebreaking because I have NOT been out of the shelter for long. It means that I don’t mind being in my crate and usually keep it clean and dry. I might holler when you first put me in my crate but my foster mom says, don’t be fooled. I’ll settle down with a blanket and toy after a little while. I just have to get used to being without my brothers and sisters and get used to my new family.  You know things change all the time for us rescued dogs.   We go from so many situations while the shelters and the rescues are trying their best to get it all just right for us.  I sleep in my crate at night. I love mealtime! I also love to chase toys. If you get me settled on a blanket next to you, I love a good snuggle time. I’m ready. Come and get me! I am spayed and healthy and loveable and snuggable and I really need a place to belong.  Can you love pretty little me?  Bridgette the golden charm that will make your life so much better.  Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask for an application for me.  Tell them where you live please…city and state. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 19, 2024, 1:52 pm

Story
Meet Michael, who comes to us from the community. Michael is a 4-month-old, 22 lb., Golden Retriever mix. He has a slight neurological tic, and his head shakes sometimes, but he has been examined by our vet and it seems to a be a slight form of hydrocephalus that actually seems to be getting less and less noticeable by the week. Our vet feels that he should live a normal healthy life with no issues or intervention needed. It does not prevent him from anything. He is just like every other puppy. Michael is dog and cat friendly. He absolutely loves toys and will hoard them in a pile. He is funny, talkative and playful. Michael is fully vaccinated and is microchipped. If you would be interested in meeting him, please send us your email address to obtain an Adoption Application.
