Story
Dottie is a Chocolate and White female puppy who is a spunky and loving girl who wants only to be near her foster mom everywhere she goes.  Born to a beautiful, homeless Golden Retriever mix momma named Honey, Dottie was part of a litter of 8 puppies soon became a rumor of desertion and abandonment in a small town rural area of Tennessee.  Their momma Honey was known to travel the roadside looking for food and sustenance and people talked of her puppies being located in a wooded area and roaming.  A kind single mom with 2 children of her own and working two jobs, heard the rumor, and went looking for this desperate little family.  She found momma Honey and her brood living under a flat bed trailer at the edge of a wooded area. We have the pictures and video.  Rescue foster mom, Kayla, took them home and soon a search was started to find help from a rescue group that could secure homes and vetting assistance for this large family.   Critter Cavalry stepped up even though this foster family were 3.5 hours  away. Everyone made it work. Dottie is a pretty girl who will one day be a 55-60 pounds girl with the sweetest face that is accented and remembered for her deeply green eyes and chocolate polka dots and freckles.  She is fun loving and wants to be in the middle of the party action when her siblings are having too much fun.  She is an observant girl that is sensitive and loves to know what is going on all around her at all times. She is very bright and an active girl that is engaged and ready to have all the fun she can in life.  A wonderful girl who will be your greatest cuddle companion as you grab a bowl of Popcorn and turn on your favorite TV shows to binge on for a weekend of getting lost from all the cares of the world, Dottie is there for you and will be your favorite Mini ME as she mirrors the mood and energy level of her new owner and family.    She is destined to be a 50-55 pound girl but will always be a  puppy who is eager to learn and easy going with her attitude toward life.  She has the most beautiful green eyes and the softest skin that is so ready to be stroked and petted.  She is growing and she will be a perfect family companion as she is displays her easy nature at all the right times in life.  Not one aggressive bone in her body.  Dottie has been around young children and great and also has been around a small cat as well and did well.  She is a chameleon in life.  She will adjust and fit right in wherever she is planted. A beauty that is ready to blossom right before your eyes.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in this sweet girl.  We recommend a home with a fenced yard or large outside property for her best family fit.  She is ready NOW!!!!!        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 11, 2026, 12:31 pm

Story
Jax has been with our family since he was 8 weeks old and is one of the hardest goodbyes we’ve ever had to make. Due to our son’s severe allergy-induced asthma and recent move to North Carolina, we’re looking for the right forever home for him. Jax is a very high-energy, fun-loving dog who thrives with activity and attention. He loves being outdoors, playing in the water, going on adventures, and spending time with his people. He’s also happy to relax indoors after he’s burned off some energy. He is crate trained, great with kids, and has been raised as part of a busy family. We’re looking for a home that can keep up with his energy level and give him the love, exercise, and attention he deserves. He is a wonderful dog, and we want nothing more than to find the perfect family for him. ❤️

Story
Please contact Candace (ccrnewengland@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.**Meet Odin (Odie for short)!** Our handsome  Great Pyr/Golden Retriever mix boy who was born on **September 25, 2024** which makes him just now 2 years old.   At 80 pounds this boy is not only handsome but also a great Leader in his own mind. He is everything people love about the breeds—loyal, intelligent, devoted, and deeply connected to his owner and his favorite place is right by his people, whether he's joining you on an outdoor adventure or relaxing nearby after a long day. Odie is looking for a home that can provide strong, consistent leadership (to keep his alpha nature in check), a large securely fenced yard, and plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy life. He thrives when he's included as part of the family and forms strong bonds with those he loves. He gets along well with other dogs and carries himself with a calm, confident presence that naturally makes him a leader among his canine friends. Beneath his majestic size is a playful, affectionate soul who simply wants to love and be loved.  There are some training tips that we will share that will keep Odin from picking a person and 'owning' them in the family.  We want him to feel that he belongs to everyone in the family and not guard his 'one and only' person.  Odin has so much heart to give and is ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. If you're familiar with and appreciate the Great Pyrenees breed, Odie could be the loyal best friend and faithful companion you've been searching for. **Could Odie be the missing piece of your family?**    Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    October 11, 2026, 12:31 pm

Story
Meet our sweet girl! 🤍 She’s 10 months old and the last of a rescue litter still looking for her forever home. She is genuinely such a sweet, loving girl and would make an amazing addition to the right family. She’s great with kids, potty trained, crate trained, and does really well on a leash. She’s also meal trained and already knows several basic commands including sit, shake, lay down, and stay. She has received her puppy vaccinations as well! She has grown up with lots of love and is ready to find a family of her own. We really want to make sure she goes to a safe, loving home where she’ll be treated like part of the family. 🐾 10 months old • Puppy shots • Potty trained • Crate trained • Great with kids • Leash trained • Knows basic commands Rehoming/adoption fee applies to ensure a serious and committed home. Please message me if you’re interested or would like to know more about her!

Story
Hello, my name is Isa ( E-Sah )! I am 1 year and 3 months as of April. I spent the first part of my life living outside so I am reactive to a lot of things however I have been living indoors for a couple months and can adapt pretty quickly. I am currently staying with kind foster parents and genuinely hope to find a loving forever home. I adore cuddles and playing, and I would thrive in a home with a big yard where I can run and enjoy myself. I get along well with my foster parents' dog, and we play. I can be protective with new people/dogs, but once I smell you, everything is okay! I am house-trained and can roam around without too much supervision but I am not fully leashed trained so as of right now I can not do any casual walks or runs outdoors without reaction. Please just be patient with me as I am not an easy first companion for a family who has not had prior pets but I am a lovely, silly, affectionate girl who just wants to be part of a loving household!
