PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER: call: (828) 484-4282 Duncan is an outstanding dog. He has a happy, sunny temperament and is a true winner of hearts. He is smart, a quick learner, eager to please, very affectionate, in fact totally lovable. We and our other dog already love him dearly and are very sad to have to give him up since we have found, in the 2 weeks since we adopted him from Brother Wolf, that he is not safe our cat. Duncan needs to live in a home with no cats. Duncan gets on with all dogs of all sizes, male and female and with all the people he has met with us both men and women. He plays with other dogs in a robust but completely unaggressive way, and he is a tireless, but not demanding, ball chaser and retriever. He is beginning to walk well on a leash as he is very easy to train. While walking off leash on a trail he does not run away but runs ahead then circles back and walks happily along with us. He responded to his new name very quickly and impressed us with how quickly he comes when called.

Story
Hopi got his name because he loves to bunny hop! He’s just a happy, hoppy, Hopi! We found this beautiful boy left behind. He crossed the street in front of us one day while we were driving, clearly trying to find food. He was skinny, terrified and heart broken. He ran back to his house to guard it from us as we approached, so we brought out some dog treats we had on us in the car and he immediately ran into my body with gratitude. We found out who his owner was and when we called, were told to just take the dog as the man had been evicted and left this boy behind for over a week, outside. We scooped him up and took him right home. He adores our dogs, LOVES anything outdoors and would need a yard, food motivated, loves playing fetch, loves playing with other dogs and loves, love. He’s amazing. I wish we had the time but we are trying to start a family and already have 2. We want him to have everything he needs and deserves. I know he’d love having another fury buddy too!
