Story
RAVEN Female / 7 years old / Golden-poodle (Golden retriever x Poodle mix) / ~45 lbs Raven is an extremely friendly, smart and loyal girl. She doesn’t bark at all, she’s learned to sit and “down” in a matter of days, so the sky’s the limit with this gem. She’s housetrained and Cratetrained. She’s new to the leash but doing well with it so far. She’s up to date with her vaccinations and is microchipped; she will be spayed within the next 10 days. She has never lived in the city so country/suburb style homes/areas are preferred. She’s a happy friendly girl and has always lived with dogs, she’s also good with kids never tested with cats. She’s currently fostered in Holland Landing, ON & is looking for her furever home You can find my form “ Rescue Dog Adoption Application” at: https://form.jotform.com/211694512438255 Adoption fee is $850

Story
Hi, my name is Luna. I am a Golden Retriever/Standard Poodle mix and am about 14 weeks old. I am currently at my foster home in Scarborough and looking for my forever home. I weigh just over 20 pounds and will most likely be a big girl when I’m grown. I am not spayed yet but do have my vaccinations including rabies. I will need a booster in about a month. I came from a puppy mill and will need time to adjust and time to learn proper behaviour. I am afraid of stairs, hallways, the car but I’m coming out of my shell and am ready to embrace life! ! I like other dogs and people. I haven’t met any cats yet. I’m afraid of strangers for a minute and shy away but then I come around and like them very much. I don’t bite or guard. I am not quite housetrained, but almost. I can go days without an accident. I have a crate but I don’t like it very much. It scares me. I prefer a gated off area for when I’m alone. I don’t bark when left alone but I sometime whine.. I try to eat everything in sight including chairs and twigs! Foster mom trades me for toys. I love the stuffed ones. I have a sweet personality and am getting used to my new life, including nice people. I’m learning how to walk on leash and doing well. I know sit. Am learning down and stay but need to refreshing daily. I would work well in a house with a fenced in yard and with a family who has someone home most of the time.  Would you like to take me home?  If yes, here is the application for me:   https://www.speakingofdogs.com/adoption/dog-adoption-application-2/July 20, 2024, 5:18 pm

Story
Hi! My name is Echo. I am a Golden Retriever/Standard Poodle mix and am about 14 weeks old. I am currently at my foster home in Dundalk and eagerly awaiting to be adopted. I weigh 8.8 kilos. I am not spayed yet but do have my vaccinations including rabies. I will need a booster in about a month. I came from a puppy mill however I have adjusted to my foster home very well! I am great on stairs, car rides and get along very well with other dogs, kids and cats. I am super social with people and will give kisses all day long if allowed. I am doing well with potty training and am currently working on sit and walking on a leash. I love going for walks with the other poodle in my foster home. I don’t use a crate, and love sleeping in bed with the kids at my current home. I sleep throughout the night and will wake my fosters up with a kiss to be let out in the morning. I am teething and love to find things around the house to chew, so it’s best to give me plenty of options, or I will find my own. I would work well in a house with a fenced in yard or someone who works from home to take me on several walks a day.  Are you my perfect family? July 20, 2024, 5:18 pm

Story
Hello there! I'm Peggy, a delightful two-year-old Golden Retriever/Poodle mix(based on my look) with a heart full of love and a spirit as bright as the sun. My story began in the heart of Turkey, where I found myself abandoned and alone, my once-shiny coat marred by patches of fur loss due to relentless mange. Despite the challenges, my eyes tell a tale of resilience—a spirit not yet broken. Rescue Story: In the Turkish forest, a rescue familiar with the plight of abandoned animals stumbled upon me. Skilled veterinarians treated my mange, provided nourishment, and slowly transformed the patches of bare skin into a soft coat. I became a favorite among the rescue staff, my wagging tail and appreciative eyes telling a tale of gratitude. Recently I live in a kennel in Turkey. Character: I'm a social butterfly always ready to shower affection on anyone who crosses my path. My tail wags with excitement, and my eyes sparkle with a playful energy that's contagious. My love for humans knows no bounds, making me the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and loving friend. Interactions: I get along well with other dogs, embracing the joy of shared play and companionship. While my interactions with cats are unknown, my friendly and adaptable nature suggests that I may welcome cat friends with the right introduction and time to adjust. Adventurous Spirit: I'm an adventurer at heart, enjoying the outdoors, sniffing out new scents, and basking in the warmth of the sun. Interactive toys and games bring out my playful side, and I delight in the company of both human and canine companions. Yet, my favorite pastime is undoubtedly cuddling up with my human, reveling in the comfort of shared moments. Ideal Home: I'm seeking a forever home where my social nature can truly blossom. An environment with humans who appreciate my love for companionship and the possibility of furry friends for playtime would make my tail wag with happiness. My adaptable personality makes me an excellent addition to families or individuals looking for a loyal and affectionate dog. Training and Health: My energy level is moderate, and I already know how to walk with a leash. I'm comfortable on the leash, but please be prepared to train me or continue training. No health issues here—I'm fully vaccinated, neutered (Rabies, KC, and DHPP), and microchipped. If you're ready to open your heart to a loving and resilient companion, I'm here, ready to embark on a new chapter filled with shared adventures and cherished moments. Apply for adoption today and be prepared for a lifetime of joy with Peggy! Peggy can fly to Toronto or Vancouver when she finds her forever home!
