I saw a sausage stand and thought, 'Aha, free lunch!' But, the sausages were tied to a string. I pulled one, and the whole stand came crashing down! Amidst the chaos, a kind soul brought me to this shelter. I've learned my lesson, I promise. No more sausage heists for me. I'm all about belly rubs and fetch now. So, how about it? Meet Sassy Sassy is a roughly one-year-old, 47-lb sweetheart with a gentle soul and a fluffy golden-white coat. We believe she’s a Golden Retriever / Great Pyrenees mix, giving her that perfect blend of softness, loyalty, and calm charm. Sadly, Sassy came to us heartworm positive, and she’s just beginning treatment. Because of this, we’re looking for a quiet, low-activity home where she can rest and heal comfortably during her recovery. TiggerTown will guide fosters or adopters through the treatment process — we just need a loving place for her to land. She is fully vetted (spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, on prevention for flea/tick, etc.) Sassy is: Potty trained Crate trained Dog friendly (with most dogs) Great with older kids NOT good with cats She’s an easy dog to love — sweet, steady, and grateful for kindness. She is a very sweet and playful girl who will need room to run and play in her new home. Winnie is good with children, adults, and other dogs but we do not know about cats. Dewey is a big bundle of fuzzy lovin. Great with all kinds and sizes of furry friends. He's so gentle and calm it's hard to believe he's under a year old. This dude is perfect for pretty much any family. Loves to play but doesn't eat shoes or furniture like most puppies. He has 22 foster buddies living here with him and he loves em all - especially the tiny puppies who use as a bed.
