Story
Meet McCoy – the sweetest little sidekick you didn’t know you were missing. At just 4.5 months old and 24 pounds, McCoy is a delightful mix of silly, snuggly, and smart. He may be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and you’ll quickly discover his playful personality and affectionate heart. McCoy comes from a pretty interesting family tree! His mom is a Heeler/Beagle mix and his dad is a cream-colored Goldendoodle, which resulted in one very unique and adorable pup. He has the coloring of his siblings but favors his Beagle-mix mama in looks — with short little legs, a loooong Basset-style body, and a thick, medium-length coat that’s perfect for cuddling. Though he was born outside and spent his early weeks living outdoors with his parents and littermates, McCoy is now thriving inside a loving foster home. He’s learning all about family life — from the excitement of greeting you at the door (he gives the best welcome-home kisses!) to living with young boys ages 6 and 10. Every day he grows braver and more confident. At first, the big dogs in his foster home made him a little nervous — but now? He’s happily part of the crew. He absolutely loves to run and play outside, and fetch with tennis balls is quickly becoming one of his favorite games. And yes… he is SMART. You can just see those wheels turning. One of the most special things about McCoy is how deeply he bonds with his people. When his foster mom recently had a terrible migraine, McCoy instinctively curled up beside her and stayed close, offering quiet comfort. He’s not just cute — he truly cares. His activity level is beautifully balanced. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he’s just as happy snuggled up right next to you. With a loving, supportive family, McCoy is going to absolutely bloom into the best kind of companion — loyal, joyful, and full of heart. He is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a special boy who is adorable inside and out, McCoy may be your perfect match. To learn more about McCoy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. We transport from our rescue base in Nashville up the northeastern corridor of states to approved adopters. McCoy is ready to find his forever family — maybe it’s you. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 12, 2026, 9:03 pm

Story
Madison is almost two years old. She is super sweet and a giant teddy bear. We have so much love for her, however our three year old has SPD and can not tolerate her. We have exhausted all options to try to make our home suitable for both Maddie and our son but we have had no luck. We are only looking to surrender her to a family or person that owns their home (to avoid ever needing her to be surrendered again for living circumstances). She is so great and patient with our young kids ( infant, toddler, 10 year old). She is not great with our cats. She has never bit them and never would; but she barks and chases them.

Story
Meet Lacey! Lacey is a gentle, 6‑year‑old, 50‑pound Goldendoodle with a soft, sensitive heart and a sweet spirit. She’s looking for a calm, loving forever home where she can continue to build confidence and feel safe. Lacey thrives with a fenced‑in yard to explore and would love a friendly resident dog to help guide her. She’s also great with cats and does well with older children who can respect her gentle nature. Because she feels most at ease when someone is around, a family where people are home often would be a perfect fit. She is still working on potty training, but with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she’ll keep making steady progress. She does well walking on a leash and goes willing on car rides. Lacey has a lot of love to give and just needs the right family who understands her calm, tender personality. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will blossom with patience and kindness, Lacey might be your perfect match. 🐾 She is spayed, microchipped and up to date with all vaccines. She is a poodle-mix and will require regular grooming to maintain her curly coat. All adopters must be willing to travel to Strasburg for a meet and greet along with their dog(s). If Lacey sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please fill out an application today! Zoe’s House Rescue. Sinking Spring Pa 19608 Kennel license #9117

Story
Meet Flyer, a three-year-old female Mini Goldendoodle. I’m searching for a loving home where I can move at my own pace and build a special bond. My foster dad works from home and spends a lot of time with me, helping me understand that people can be kind. I’m gradually coming out of my shell, but I’m still a bit scared of a lot of things. I’ve never been part of a family before coming to my foster home. I may be a bit shy around new people and take my time to trust, but once I do, I’ll be your little best friend. I love to chew on toys! I’m learning to share with my foster sisters because I want to play with all of them! When I arrived at my foster home, I needed a lot of grooming. My groomer doesn’t think I was ever groomed before I came to Zoe’s House Rescue. I’m heartworm negative, microchipped, and take monthly preventatives. I’m also crate-trained. I go potty every time I’m taken outside. I love being outside and need a fenced-in yard. Even though I’m a shy girl, I’m hopeful that someone will give me a chance to show what a wonderful companion I can be! It will take patience and time, but I have a lot of love to give. Flyer is a scared dog who needs a home that can help her build confidence and become her best self. She would benefit from training classes to boost her confidence. She’s a very sweet dog who might back herself in a corner when someone new tries to touch her. She doesn’t become aggressive, but she’ll try to get away from scary situations. That’s why we’re requiring a securely fenced yard for her. Flyer is currently being fostered in Luzerne County. Interested adopters must visit her foster home twice. The first visit is a meet and greet with all the members of the household, including the existing dogs. If approved the second visit is to take her home. www.zoeshouserescue.com Kennel license: 9117 PO box 2372 Reading, PA 19608
