Story
Meet McCoy – the sweetest little sidekick you didn’t know you were missing. At just 4.5 months old and 24 pounds, McCoy is a delightful mix of silly, snuggly, and smart. He may be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and you’ll quickly discover his playful personality and affectionate heart. McCoy comes from a pretty interesting family tree! His mom is a Heeler/Beagle mix and his dad is a cream-colored Goldendoodle, which resulted in one very unique and adorable pup. He has the coloring of his siblings but favors his Beagle-mix mama in looks — with short little legs, a loooong Basset-style body, and a thick, medium-length coat that’s perfect for cuddling. Though he was born outside and spent his early weeks living outdoors with his parents and littermates, McCoy is now thriving inside a loving foster home. He’s learning all about family life — from the excitement of greeting you at the door (he gives the best welcome-home kisses!) to living with young boys ages 6 and 10. Every day he grows braver and more confident. At first, the big dogs in his foster home made him a little nervous — but now? He’s happily part of the crew. He absolutely loves to run and play outside, and fetch with tennis balls is quickly becoming one of his favorite games. And yes… he is SMART. You can just see those wheels turning. One of the most special things about McCoy is how deeply he bonds with his people. When his foster mom recently had a terrible migraine, McCoy instinctively curled up beside her and stayed close, offering quiet comfort. He’s not just cute — he truly cares. His activity level is beautifully balanced. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he’s just as happy snuggled up right next to you. With a loving, supportive family, McCoy is going to absolutely bloom into the best kind of companion — loyal, joyful, and full of heart. He is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a special boy who is adorable inside and out, McCoy may be your perfect match. To learn more about McCoy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. We transport from our rescue base in Nashville up the northeastern corridor of states to approved adopters. McCoy is ready to find his forever family — maybe it’s you. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Madison is almost two years old. She is super sweet and a giant teddy bear. We have so much love for her, however our three year old has SPD and can not tolerate her. We have exhausted all options to try to make our home suitable for both Maddie and our son but we have had no luck. We are only looking to surrender her to a family or person that owns their home (to avoid ever needing her to be surrendered again for living circumstances). She is so great and patient with our young kids ( infant, toddler, 10 year old). She is not great with our cats. She has never bit them and never would; but she barks and chases them.

Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Meet the Cuter Things Litter (Inspired by STRANGER THINGS ) Four-month-old Holly is the last of the litter to find a home. She has been working on potty training and good manners in her foster home. She was raised around children and many other dogs. She is using a pet door to go potty and only has a couple of accidents a week. This adorable all-girl litter came to us through no fault of their own. Their owner was arrested, and his girlfriend and the puppies had to move out by December 31st. She was able to find a family member willing to foster the mama dog, but sadly there was nowhere for the puppies to go. Thanks to one of our amazing volunteers, these girls were picked up and brought to safety.  When they first arrived, they looked like they’d been battling Demogorgons — but after a much-needed bath, full bellies, and some TLC, they’ve transformed into the happy, playful, very cute puppies they were meant to be. The pup's mom is a Goldendoodle mix and dad is unknown. We don’t know what they’re mixed with, but we do know they’re sweet, resilient, and ready to leave the Upside Down behind for loving forever homes.  Adoption Fee $475 ($75 refund with proof of spay) Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption,  please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG     CAT     BIRD      REPTILE       SMALL ANIMALS        March 13, 2026, 3:08 pm
