Lantana - “Annie” - is a true love of a puppy! She is full of energy and loves to run and play, but also is content to snuggle up with her foster family! She is crate trained - getting up once during the night and then goes back to sleep like a champ! Also, sweetly sits by the front door to go out and take care of her business. She likes her squeaky toys and to collect all of our shoes! She does well on the leash around the yard too, but hasn’t tackled a big walk yet, though we are sure that is coming soon. She’s a fast learner and very smart! She will be a great pet for a family! he is the most beautiful little girl who will make a great addition to your family! Apply for Heather here::  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/Dog All puppies must be spayed or neutered at 6 mos of age.  Adoption fee is $500 which includes a spay deposit of $150 which will be returned after proof of surgery. December 24, 2024, 8:03 am

Story
“Yuki” means snow and happiness. I am a girl who is both! At 11 years old I was retired from breeding. I am beautiful white colored Golden Retriever. Don’t let my age fool you. I like to play and snuggle. My foster home is a busy place and I do well with all except the cat. My foster mom thinks it is best I don’t live with any cats. I love attention from any age and literally will just flop in front of you for snuggles and pets. I do well in my crate. Sometimes I still do young dog things like chew on a blanket but I listen when my foster mom tells me not too. I will need to always be leashed in a yard. I like adventure and will try to find holes in the fencing. My foster mom uses a tie out but she is also always outside with me. I am housebroken. I had a few accidents early on at my foster home but none in a few weeks. I am recovering from a UTI. Regression is normal when changing environments. I was spayed and had a mammary mass removed a few weeks ago. My mammary mass was benign but I do have a concerning spot on my knee. At my age another surgery would be hard on my body. It is in my best interest to monitor the spot for changes as long as it doesn’t cause me problems. I really enjoy any attention you will give me. I love toys. I came into my foster home like I had always been there. I am just an awesome girl that I hope someone will take a chance on spoiling for the rest of my life! Yuki is spayed, up to date on shots, and monthly preventatives. Any potential adopter will be required to travel to Harrisburg to meet Yuki with all family members including other dogs. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Amelia is a beautiful cream colored Golden Retriever. At 10 years old, she was retired from breeding and is loving life inside a house with her foster family. Like a typical golden, Amelia loves her people. She is happiest when she’s with her family and is vocal about getting pets! But she is also crate trained and enjoys going in her crate for some quiet time and hanging out in there while her foster family isn’t home. Amelia has loved every single person she’s met, and she is fine with dogs and cats. But she’d also be okay being your one and only. She has never had an accident in her foster home and is good about telling her family when she needs to go out. Don’t let her age fool you - Amelia is learning how to play fetch in the backyard and can be pretty quick. She doesn’t need a fenced in backyard, but she can be a strong puller! She sometimes does young dog things like go for socks, so her foster family tries to keep those out of reach. Amelia also doesn’t love the stairs, but has been happy hanging out in the main level of her foster home. Amelia is the sweetest girl who is looking for someone to spend her golden years with! Give this old girl a chance and she will be the best companion you’ve ever had. Amelia is spayed, up to date on shots, and monthly preventatives. Any potential adopter will be required to travel to Harrisburg to meet Amelia with all family members including other dogs. Kennel license 9117 box 2372 Reading pa 19608 Please apply using this link. Story
Meet Daisy!
Breed: Golden Retriever / Irish Setter Mix
Age: 10 Months
Surrendered Due to Allergies Daisy is a playful, energetic young dog looking for a home that can keep up with her lively spirit! At just 10 months old, she’s already packed with personality and has a love for outdoor adventures. She absolutely adores spending time in the yard, and her favorite pastime? Picking up large rocks and carrying them around like precious treasures! Daisy is especially fond of the snow – she’ll put her nose right in it and sniff around. Daisy is already familiar with basic commands like "sit," "paw," and "leave it," but like most puppies, she’s still working on her manners. She can be a little mouthy and tends to jump up, so she’ll need an owner who is committed to consistent training and redirection. Daisy will do better with all adults and children over 14 because of her puppy ways. She's also working on staying calm and not jumping, but she's a quick learner and eager to please! Though she’s still getting to know her foster brothers, Daisy is very social and seems to enjoy the company of other dogs. Since she’s just been spayed, her interactions with other dogs have been limited, but she's slowly being introduced to her foster siblings. She’s still learning leash manners, so she tends to pull, but with consistent training, she will improve. Daisy has a high energy level and a working drive, making her an excellent candidate for agility or other active pursuits. Daisy would thrive in a home where she can get lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Whether it’s hiking, playing fetch, or engaging in agility training, she’s up for any activity that keeps her moving and learning. If you’re looking for a fun, enthusiastic companion who will keep you on your toes and make your heart melt, Daisy might just be the perfect fit for you! Daisy is UTD on vaccines, monthly preventatives, spayed and microchipped. She is fostered in York Haven, PA. Any perspective home will need to travel with all family members and dogs. Story
Meet Rocky, a 2-year-old Golden Retriever mix. He has reached his mature weight of around 63 pounds. Rocky wears a medium-length wavy tan and brown coat. He now has a cute little nub tail, since when he was found roaming the streets his long tail was degloved and needed to be amputated. He's healed wonderfully from his tail amputation! Rocky gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He also loves to talk to you throughout the day. Adopt Rocky and let him fill your life with love and laughter! What a delightful fellow he is! (ME,11/29/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.January 4, 2025, 2:33 pm

We were able to provide her a soft place to land and a chance to live the life she deserves as a cherished pet. This new world is a little overwhelming for sweet Ginger, but she is doing her best to be brave. She has started to settle into the quiet environment in her foster home. Ginger is house trained and well-mannered. Being in a calm home without a lot of commotion will help her continue to thrive. She’s very sweet and enjoys being with her people once she trusts you. Ginger`s ideal family will have experience with dogs and be home often, as she is not a fan of being by herself. We can’t wait to watch this beautiful girl reach her full potential!
