Story
Hi, I’m Dandelion! I’m a 5-year-old, 35-pound mini Goldendoodle with the softest fur and the sweetest soul to match. I was rescued from a life as a breeding mama from a commercial breeder and I’m finally learning what it means to be loved and safe. I may only have one eye, but don’t let that fool you—I see the world with a whole lot of heart. I’m gentle and calm, just like my name suggests. My favorite thing in the world? Being with my people. I walk beautifully on a leash, ride quietly in the car, and will happily snuggle into your legs at a coffee shop, park, or wherever the day takes us. I live for cozy cuddles—especially if you invite me up for a snuggle session. I get along great with other dogs and would be perfectly happy in a home with or without a furry sibling. I'm very polite and respectful. I do prefer to be with my humans as much as possible, so I’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time or can bring me along on adventures. Crates aren’t really my thing. I will settle eventually, but I can be a little vocal while I’m getting used to it. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle me, so I’d be happiest in a calmer home with older kids. That said, I currently live with a sweet 6-year-old and love curling up with them to snuggle and read stories. I don’t seem to shed and will need regular grooming to keep me looking as adorable as I feel! I am spayed, up to date on my shots and flea/heart worm preventatives. I can’t wait to find a forever family who will love me for the gentle, loyal companion I am. All potential adopters will need to travel to Lancaster, Pa for a Meet and Greet! Story
Meet Eva! Eva is a 4 year old, female, Golden retriever who was surrendered from a commercial breeder. Like most mama dogs she is very timid and mild mannered. Eva is a little ray of light. She is very dainty and weighs 65lbs. Eva is both dog and cat friendly. She loves children however their fast movements scare her a little bit. She is starting getting used to the wild boys in her foster home. She loves to play fetch! She especially loves soft squeaky toys. She is a chewer and a licker she does well with bones and redirection if she picks up a toy she’s not supposed to. She adores attention and being pet. She will give kisses and nudge for pets. She is adjusting to house training however, regression is expected in a new environment. She loves to be outside. She requires a physical fence (no tie outs or electrical fences). Eva struggles with doorways and steps. It will take her some time and patience to adjust to your home. She is very cheese motivated as well as toy motivated. Eva does not enjoy a crate, she will go in quietly if you lift her and put her in but she prefers to be out or in a gated off area. She walks well on a leash. Eva is up-to-date on vaccines, preventatives, she was spayed, and had her teeth cleaned. If you are interested in Eva please apply at zoeshouserescue.com Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA

Story
Introducing Miss Honey! Honey is as sweet as her name. She is a 5-year-old spayed mini golden doodle, weighing around 40 lbs. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and is on monthly flea and tick and heartworm preventatives. While initially timid and unsure, after being allowed some time to feel safe and secure, she wants nothing more than to be exactly where her people are. She walks with a slack leash (as long as she’s with you), is doing great at going outside in the backyard to use the potty (as long as she is with you) and sleeps all night on her dog bed (as long as she’s next to you) Do you see the pattern here?! Honey is indifferent to cats, has been gentle with all children that she has interacted with and gets along with both our female and male dog, although she’s much happier with her people and would probably be just fine in a single dog home. Because of her desire to be with her human family, she does have separation anxiety when left alone. She would do best with a family that is home a lot and able to spend as much time with her as possible. She is not the biggest fan of her crate but is slowly adjusting to that as well. With some time and patience, Honey will be a great companion for her future family! Story
Daffodils symbolize new beginnings and that is exactly what this girl has! Daffodil is a beautiful 3 yr old Golden Retriever who was rescued from a commercial breeder. Daffodil has come a long way since coming to live with her foster family. She loves her foster mom and dad, but sometimes isn't too sure about men and strangers. Since she is still learning to trust people she will need a family who is patient and understanding and will give her the time she needs to feel comfortable in her new surroundings. Loud noises and quick movements can startle her. She ignores the kitties in her home, although bunnies and squirrels are such fun on walks! Daffodil loves going for walks! She also loves her foster sister, another Golden Retriever, so we would love for her to go to home with a mentor dog. She does not like getting into the car, so that can be a struggle, but does well once she is in. Daffodil is a wonderful snuggler and just wants to be close to you! She has never had an accident in the house, but please remember that regression is common when changing environments. She enjoys the security of her crate, but she does not need to be crated. Daffodil is very easy to have around and such a good girl! Some family is going to be very loved! She up to date on all her vaccines, spayed & microchipped. She’s heartworm negative and is current on preventative care. If you think this wonderful girl would make an amazing addition to your family, please apply today. www.zoeshouserescue.com Daffodil is being fostered in Strasburg, PA. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.4/6/25 Still available! Bentley is a pup with a purpose. His wide set eyes may give him a slightly goofy expression, but he knows where he is going and what he is doing when he gets there. He is more likely to go through an obstacle than over or around. He has the caramel coloring of a Yellow Lab, and at about 5 months old is a solid 26lbs. His mom is fairly small (30 pounds, dad unknown). We think Bentley will be medium sized when full grown...40-50 pounds? Purely a guess. • Fully crate trained, sleeping through the night and dry most days while his foster parents are at work.• Doing well w/ house training. • Interested in cats in a playful, not harmful, kind of way. Good with other dogs. • Good w/ kids• Very shy at first with new people but warms up quickly.  Located in New England  To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350.
