He's submissive and responsive to guidance, showing great potential for learning and adapting to a new environment. Flinn came to us without much practice on a leash, but he’s so eager to please, intelligent and quick-learning that he’s made a TON of progress! He would love for his forever family to continue building his confidence on leash! Flinn has shown positive interactions with other dogs! Flinn is most comfortable with female dogs, and a great and respectful player! A home with one or many female dogs would be great for Flinn! Flinn is great at picking up on social cues, taking correction and minding his manners with other pups. Although he may need some time to adjust to new environments, Flinn's sweet demeanor shines through once he feels comfortable! In a home environment, Flinn craves human companionship and enjoys hanging out on the couch, getting head scratches. Flinn LOVES kids, he’s incredibly gentle and patient with them. However, Flinn can be a bit reserved and may startle with the exuberance of a toddler in the room. A home with older children who understand his need for patience and gentle encouragement would be perfect for him. This spunky boy is full of love, life, kisses, adventures, snuggles and fun! Kyle knows how to keep the laughs rolling. He is a gentle soul, very laid-back, he was very comfortable around my kiddo, age 5, and leaned into him and rolled over for belly rubs. This is a gentle, sweet boy! His breed will remain a mystery until you DNA test him. With his gorgeous wavy apricot colored coat, he really stands out in a crowd! His teddy bear looks always make everyone want to hug him. Kyle has a soft and calm demeanor and makes a wonderful house dog. He is quiet and curious, but also very independent. While in the yard or on walks he enjoys sniffing out all the good spots. He enjoys exercise and adventures which would make him the best hiking companion! His leash skills are great and he loves to show them off. Kyle is the kind of dog who lets the love and attention come to him. He doesn't beg and isn't high maintenance. He is content laying next to you on the couch watching a movie or at your feet while you work! He loves companionship but doesn't need attention 24/7 like some. Kyle is kid friendly and has been observed dog friendly! He does very well in playgroups and his current best friend is another dog we have, a large male dog. He is very respectful of other dogs and doesn't play rough. With some dogs he can play for hours and others he enjoys just being alongside. Kyle is a very trainable dog as he is very smart! He enjoys his treats so training him will be a breeze. He sure will make it fun.
