Story
Jake was found with his sister, Lucy, in July of 2021. He was estimated to be about 9 months old at that time. It appeared that the two dogs had been dumped and had been surviving on their own out in the country for a while. They were in bad condition and needed medical treatment but fully recovered. Attempts were made to find them a home together but when that did not happen, we kept them. They are both wonderful, sweet, goofy, gentle, and affectionate dogs. They are great with other friendly dogs, kids, and older adults. They do have some anxiety but do great in a crate when left alone and also do well when boarded. The reason for rehoming is that they are not good with cats and can not live in a home with cats. Jake’s Embark dna says that his father was a purebred German Shepherd and his mother was a Goldendoodle.

Story
Lucy is a 5 year old Goldendoodle-German Shepherd mix. Lucy was found with her brother, Jake, in July of 2021. She was estimated to be about 9 months old at that time. Meet Haley! 🐾 Haley is a sweet, adorable 11-month-old poodle mix who is ready to discover the world with her forever family! At about 40lbs, she still has some growing and filling out to do, but we expect she’ll likely be around 50 lbs when fully grown. Haley is a little shy and seems like she hasn’t had much exposure to the world yet. New people and new things can make her nervous, but she is still so young, and we truly believe she can blossom with patience, encouragement and the right person by her side. She absolutely LOVES other dogs and is happiest in a good playgroup. She enjoys dogs of all sizes and would do wonderfully with a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. At home, she is playful, affectionate and really wants to be loved. She's very submissive, but is a high energy player. Haley is excellent in her crate, even sleeping quietly in it. She will need continued work with leash walking, car rides and meeting new people, but we think she has so much potential. A home with a secure fenced yard and another confident dog around her size are required for her. She also needs an adult only home and preferably one with just females. She's pretty scared of men, sadly :( Haley is located in Tampa. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and her adoption fee is $300. 🎀 Quinn 🎀 ⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING – SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Quinn is a 5.5-year-old, ~50 lb red Goldendoodle who came from a breeder situation where she lived outdoors and had very little exposure to normal home life. She has made incredible progress and is now a happy, affectionate, and playful dog in her foster home. At home, Quinn is easy, loving, and well-behaved. She loves other dogs, plays in the yard, and is happiest cuddled up next to her canine friends or following her person from room to room. Once she bonds, she bonds deeply. However, Quinn is still very shy and easily overwhelmed in new environments. She is fearful in public and can be a flight risk if not properly secured. She will need a confident, experienced adopter who understands how to keep nervous dogs safe and is physically able to handle/lift her if needed. Quinn will also need time to build trust—multiple meet-and-greets will be required prior to adoption. She is not a dog who can go home on the first visit. She has a manageable medical routine (special diet, Pepcid, and probiotics) for mild reflux, which is well controlled.
