Jake

Goldendoodle German Shepherd Dog

Male, Adult
Valrico, FL
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Jake was found with his sister, Lucy, in July of 2021. He was estimated to be about 9 months old at that time. It appeared that the two dogs had been dumped and had been surviving on their own out in the country for a while. They were in bad condition and needed medical treatment but fully recovered. Attempts were made to find them a home together but when that did not happen, we kept them. They are both wonderful, sweet, goofy, gentle, and affectionate dogs. They are great with other friendly dogs, kids, and older adults. They do have some anxiety but do great in a crate when left alone and also do well when boarded. The reason for rehoming is that they are not good with cats and can not live in a home with cats. Jake’s Embark dna says that his father was a purebred German Shepherd and his mother was a Goldendoodle.

Story
Poodle lovers - we have a gem! 💎 Meet Max ❤️ This sweet standard poodle is on the hunt for a new home after his owner entered a memory care facility. He’s 6 years old, 57lbs and has been well taken care of and loved. Max is used to being the only dog, but he gets along great with dogs his size. He’s playful and sweet and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He would be fine being an only dog or having a canine friend 🐕 He can honestly fit in anywhere, but he would be best without very small dogs or cats. This perfect gentleman has great manners and sleeps through the night in his bed, is house trained and is fine left loose when you aren’t home - he just doesn’t want to be crated. He would also love someone home often 🐾 🐕 He knows several commands 🥕 Has started eating veggies as treats, but is not food motivated ⚽️ Loves toys and squeaky balls - he will play soccer by himself! 🐕 He is not an alpha dog at all, just a goofy sweet boy 🏃‍♀️ He needs an active home that plans to exercise him and play with him The best part - he gives hugs and leans his head into you when you need it ❤️ He’s literally the greatest companion, but that’s just how poodles are and why we love them so much. Max is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. He’s fostered in Sarasota and his adoption fee is $400. Apply: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt Let’s find him the best poodle-loving home 🥰

Story
✨ Meet Misty ✨ Misty is a petite Standard Poodle at just about 40 lbs - about the same size as Fifi! Like Floyd, Fifi, and Ziti, she came from the same home and is now looking for a family of her own. 💗 Velcro dog extraordinaire 💗 Extremely sweet and affectionate 💗 Loves to cuddle 💗 Walks nicely on a leash 💗 House trained 💗 Food motivated and eager to learn 💗 Gets along well with small dogs 💗 Happy to play, but also content to relax nearby Misty is a gentle, sweet girl who can be a little shy at first. She gains confidence from other dogs and thrives when she has a canine friend to show her the ropes. Once she settles in, she’s happiest right by your side. 🏡 Misty’s home requirements: • Secure fenced yard • Another friendly dog her size or larger • No children (because they leave doors open and are overwhelming to shy dogs) Misty is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and ready to start her next chapter. 📍 Tampa, FL 💲 Adoption Fee: $400 Apply today: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt Misty is the most beautiful, perfect moyen poodle and someone is going to be so lucky to have her! 🐩💕

Story
Maddie is a 3-year-old Standard Poodle with a heart as beautiful as her curly coat. Rescued from a county shelter in very poor condition, she was severely underweight, matted, and suffering from untreated ear infections. Thanks to the care of a dedicated foster, she has made an incredible recovery and is now a happy, healthy girl ready for a forever family of her own. Maddie is house-trained, crate-trained, and trustworthy when left loose in the home. She's incredibly smart, loves playing fetch, splashing in the water, and spending time with her people. One of her cutest quirks is spinning in circles when she's excited—especially at mealtime or when you come home! While she enjoys adventure and playtime, she's just as happy curling up beside you for a nap. Maddie adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion. She is also cat-friendly, kid-friendly, and does well in doggy daycare. Her beautiful curly coat will require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best. Today, Maddie weighs about 35 pounds and is still working toward her ideal weight. She is truly the sweetest girl and deserves a family that will love and spoil her for the rest of her life. Fostered in: Naples, FL Adoption Fee: $400 Apply to adopt: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt
