They were both abandoned and were so severely matted. They had to be shaved down. Both Oakley and Angelo are shy because they were left abandoned to fend for themselves on a hunting property for several months. Angelo is becoming more outgoing but will still need a patient foster that can help him acclimate to new situations. ideally a fenced yard is good but he is getting accustomed to being on lead. He is good with people and other dogs, but needs to move in at his own pace. Nothing hurried here please. Will be coming in a few weeks and will be flown in . You must be able to pick him up at airport most likely in Orlando area. He is a very sweet boy, who needs some TLC. Applications are being accepted, we would love to get this boy into a wonderful home here in Florida.

Story
Oakley has come such a long in such a short period of time. She was abandoned with Angelo, both of them so severely matted they had to be shaved down. It's clear they haven't had an easy life. She's still a little skittish with new people, but she is incredibly sweet and is coming around more every day. Once she starts to trust you, you can see what a wonderful dog she's going to be. Oakley will do best with someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to give her the time, structure, and patience she needs. A fenced yard and another friendly dog are a must as it will really help her build confidence. She's still just a puppy at heart and deserves a family who will show her that people can be kind. I truly think she's going to make an amazing companion for the right person.
