His foster writes: We've had adoptable foster MAX for 2 wks now and this is what we've learned so far: - he LOVES to PLAY - he destroys stuffed toys - he was not socialized so slow exposure has been great for him - he loves to cuddle and be with his family - he is a resource guarder at times so patience, vigilence, consistency, and understanding are a must (he will trade up for a treat) -he is house trained - he's doing great with crate training and sleeps through the night - he is eager to learn and please & very trainable - dog, cat, & teen friendly - He is ADORABLE -He's a great size at 27 lbs He is a 10 month old puppy!! Max is vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, housetrained and crate trained.

This sweet girl is happiest when she’s curled up in your lap or patiently waiting at your feet for a little love and attention. She truly adores being close to her people.Posey can be a bit shy and sometimes startles easily, but with time, patience, and a loving home, we believe she will blossom into a one-in-a-million companion. She’s still learning how to play with toys, but her soft, gentle personality makes her a wonderful match for many different homes with a calm dog.Posey can live with kids, as long as they understand that she’ll need time to feel comfortable and that being gentle and patient with her is important. Once she feels safe, her sweet nature really shines through.Posey tested light positive for Lyme disease. She is currently on antibiotics and will need a follow-up recheck with your veterinarian. Lyme disease is a tick-borne illness that can cause symptoms like joint pain, fever, or lethargy, though many dogs respond very well to treatment and go on to live completely normal, happy lives. That’s still up to the detectives to figure out! Whether it’s a stolen treat or a stolen heart, McGruff is always on the case.Before coming to us, McGruff was cat-tested and showed no issues beyond typical puppy curiosity. A dog-savvy cat would be the best match for him.When meeting new canine friends, McGruff can be a little forward at first, but he responds well to corrections and adjusts nicely with proper introductions.McGruff would do great in a home with kids who can help guide him as he continues learning his manners and polishing his crime-solving skills.Medical Note: McGruff has Ehrlichiosis and is currently on antibiotics.
