F2 golden doodle, I have two kids, and he’s honestly the perfect dog. He’s potty trained, his crate trained, he doesn’t eat the kids toys, and he doesn’t have food aggression. He is very, very lovable and very active. He’s really the perfect dog. He’s 65 pounds and he deserves walks and a good time. He’s almost 3 years old. He’s still a puppy. Shots up to date. He needs a family or person to just love him, he’s SO PLAYFUL, he’s so affectionate! I mean he will be on you 100% of the time if you let him. He just needs someone to give him more time, snuggles and walks. He goes to doggie day care here and there. So he’s happy with other dogs.

Hello my name is Ember and my date of birth is 12:15/2025. Please read my bio in full before applying. I must go to a home with a fully fenced in yard and No electronic fence. I would prefer to have a dog friend that's playful. I do not like my crate so I cannot be home left alone for hours on end. My foster family is working very hard on potty training I'm about 90% there. I have two foster fur brothers that I love dearly so again having another dog would be very helpful. I'm very smart girl I know how to sit. Did I mention that I absolutely love toys? I will need to be professionally groomed every 6 to 8 weeks.

Story
Cody is from the Amish in middle of Michigan. Putting him for adoption as I’m living with roommates, studying, and working full time. Dad who watched him along with my mom passed away and my mother isn’t able to give him the care alone he needs as she uses a walker now. Cody is a good dog who loves car rides, chasing squirrels in the backyard, doesn’t bark unless someone knocks at the door, is tough to walk at times as he isn’t fully trained in not pulling, isn’t much of a cuddler but likes to lay on his own nearby you. Not the biggest fan of playing catch but will run around a dog park although he is a bit scared of dogs sometimes but not in an aggressive way. He will steal your food if you leave it out. He manages eating his food at his own pace so we always leave the bowl full and he maintains a healthy weight. Never had any bad habits like chewing furniture but when left alone for more than 9-10 hours and sadly he has a couple times he will chew up tv remotes or scratch the door.

Oh sweet, pretty Goldie, what a darling! She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 33 pounds. Meet Goldie, a gentle and loving girl who is searching for her forever home. Sadly, Goldie was shot in her back hip area, within 2 hours of her arriving at the rescue, she was at one of our wonderful veterinarians getting the care she needed. Goldie is safe now and she is ready to leave her fears behind and embrace a new life with a loving family. She did have to be shaved down for surgery (she was also all matted), except for the little poof on her head, which makes us all laugh! She is so darn sweet and loves to be close to you, especially if she can lay across your lap. She does have more of a timid, insecure nature, but once she feels safe and loved, she connects quickly. She loves to carry a ball around in her mouth, it is super cute. Goldie is extremely hand-shy though and will need patience and time to build trust and confidence. Goldie seeks closeness and physical touch from her people, and her adopter should be prepared to provide a safe and secure environment to help her feel protected and cherished. We do feel Goldie is a flight risk until she fully bonds with her new family, so a containment plan is essential to keep her safe. With the right support and dedication, Goldie will flourish and have the life she deserves. If you have the time, patience, and love to give, Goldie promises to be a devoted friend who will bring joy and love into your life. Are you the one to help Goldie write her new chapter? She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old with her shy nature. If you are interested in Goldie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch.
