QUICK FACTS Name: Doodle Age: 10 months old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Mini Golden Doodle Mix Color: Brown Weight: 9 kg / 19.8 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound where I had sadly been placed on the euthanasia list due to a lack of space. With limited time and an uncertain future ahead of me, I desperately needed someone to give me a second chance. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in before it was too late and brought me to safety. Despite everything I went through, I came out of my crate for the very first time with a wagging tail, happily making my rounds to say hello to everyone. Somehow, my difficult past never dulled my bright and loving spirit. Those uncertain days are behind me now. I’ve been given my second chance at life, and all I’m missing is a forever family to share it with.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super friendly boy with a bright personality and an equally bright mind! I already know how to sit and wait, and I’m a quick learner who pays close attention to the people around me. Based on my behavior and the manners I already have, volunteers and staff believe I may have lived in a home before. Sadly, no one knows exactly how I ended up at a city pound. With the shelter running out of space, I was placed on the euthanasia list and left waiting for an uncertain fate. When rescuers saw me, I was frightened and quietly sitting there, looking up at the people passing by as if I was still holding onto a little bit of hope. I didn’t bark or make a fuss. I simply stayed still and watched. They couldn’t bring themselves to walk past me, and thankfully, they chose to give me the second chance I desperately needed. When I was rescued, my coat was severely matted and in poor condition, so much of my fur had to be shaved off. Don’t worry though, it’s only temporary! As it grows back, I’ll have my beautiful, fluffy golden brown coat again, and I’ll be looking more handsome by the day. What really stands out about me, though, is my personality. I’m a quiet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves people. I’ll happily follow volunteers and staff around looking for attention and pets, and I have a funny way of acting like we’ve been best friends forever even when we’ve only just met. Considering how frightened I was at the pound, it’s amazing to see how quickly my happy and trusting personality has come shining through. I was given another chance at life, and now I’m ready to find the family I can follow around, love, and finally call my own.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m super friendly with people and absolutely love receiving affection from everyone I meet! I’m the kind of boy who quickly acts like we’ve been friends forever, happily following people around and soaking up all the pets and attention I can get. I’m also comfortable being gently picked up and held. Once I’m feeling relaxed and comfortable with you, I’ll happily roll over and show you my belly for even more love and belly rubs. With my trusting, affectionate nature, making new human friends comes very naturally to me. · With Dogs: I’m also super friendly with my dog friends and enjoy making new canine buddies! I generally get along best with dogs around my size or smaller and am happy to greet them, spend time together, and enjoy their company. I’m a happy-go-lucky boy with an easygoing personality, and I don’t let little things bother me. I’m gentle, social, and much more interested in having a good time than getting involved in any doggy drama. With my cheerful nature, I can fit in nicely with canine friends who match my friendly energy. · With Cats: My reaction to cats in a home environment is currently unknown. However, when I see cats during walks, I don’t seem particularly interested in them and usually stay focused on my handler instead.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well, making walks together enjoyable. I also have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I may occasionally bark when I’m looking for a little extra attention, but overall I’m a quiet boy. I also know how to settle down and rest calmly in my kennel when it’s time to relax. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. I may do a little marking when I first enter a new environment, but this should improve as I become comfortable with my surroundings and settle into a consistent routine in my forever home.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a sweet, happy boy with so much potential! I’m incredibly friendly, smart, and affectionate, and I already know how to sit and wait. I love following volunteers and staff around for attention and have a funny way of acting like we’ve been best friends forever, even when we’ve only just met. When I was rescued, my fur was badly matted and had to be shaved, so I’m currently sporting a much shorter look. I’m already an adorable boy, but just wait until my beautiful golden-brown coat grows back! With some time, love, and care, I’m going to blossom into an even more handsome little gentleman. With my intelligence, loving personality, good manners, and happy-go-lucky nature, I have all the potential to become an amazing family companion. I was given a second chance at life, and now I’m ready to show my forever family just how special I can be.   DOODLE'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2837899##
