Story
Charlie isn't the kind of dog who will walk into a home and instantly settle in-he will need patience, understanding, and a commitment to helping him build confidence. The right adopter will recognize that his challenges do not define him; they simply make his journey all the more rewarding. Charlie needs a dog-savvy owner who understands that trust is earned over time and that meaningful progress comes through consistency, guidance, and compassion along with setbacks. Beneath his cautious exterior is a deeply loyal, sensitive dog with tremendous potential to become an exceptional companion. As his confidence grows, so will the bond you share. For someone willing to put in the work, Charlie offers something truly special: the opportunity to watch a deserving dog transform, flourish, and become a devoted best friend whose loyalty and love are earned, genuine, and lasting. QUICK FACTS Name: Mozart Age: About 4 Years Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Standard Poodle Color: Brown Weight: 23kg / 50.7lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from an unlicensed breeding facility and given a second chance at life. Thanks to the kindness and dedication of my rescuers, I've been able to leave my past behind and discover what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for. Now I'm looking forward to finding a forever family where I can spend the rest of my life making happy memories together.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Mozart! I'm a beautiful Standard Poodle with a gentle soul, a clever mind, and the sweetest heart. When I first find myself in a new place, I can be a little shy and may keep my distance while I figure everything out. But once I realize I'm safe, you'll quickly discover just how affectionate I really am! Before long, I'll be quietly following you, always wanting to be close without getting in your way. If you stop to give me a few pets, don't be surprised if I immediately roll over for a belly rub—it's one of my favorite ways to show how much I trust you. I'm wonderfully peaceful with other dogs and seem to have a special charm that puppies can't resist—they're always gathering around me! I absolutely love food and never turn down a delicious treat, although I do have an impressive talent for detecting medicine hidden inside snacks. (You'll have to be a little more creative than that!) Once I truly bond with my person, I get so excited to see them that I sometimes can't contain my happiness, and my joyful greetings say more than words ever could. Beneath my initially cautious nature is an incredibly loyal, intelligent, and loving companion who simply needs a little time to open his heart. If you're willing to be patient at the beginning, I'll be the devoted best friend who's always right by your side.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but a tasty treat is a wonderful way to win me over! I warm up quickly, happily accept gentle pets, and before long, you'll get to see my sweet and affectionate personality. I may even roll over and show you my belly the very first time we meet—a special sign of how quickly I learn to trust kind people. I'm also comfortable being gently picked up, making it easy to care for and cuddle me. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so I'm still looking forward to discovering what they're like. · With Dogs: I'm friendly and polite with other dogs and enjoy walking over to say hello when we meet. While I'm not usually the type to jump into playtime, I'm happy to peacefully coexist and appreciate the company of other dogs. Even if another dog tries to provoke me, I'd much rather walk away and avoid conflict, preferring peace and harmony whenever I can. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and going for walks. After I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm happy to settle down and relax by your side. I can get a little excited and pull on the leash at times, but I naturally enjoy staying close to my person and following along. With a little guidance and consistency, I'm becoming an even better walking companion every day.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm easygoing when it comes to mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food from people or other dogs. If there's something I really want, I might let you know with a little bark—it's simply my way of communicating! I may also bark when I see unfamiliar people because new faces can make me feel a little unsure at first, but with calm introductions and a little patience, I can become more comfortable. I'm calm and relaxed in my kennel I generally prefer doing my business outside during my walks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    MOZART'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2787533##
