We got Stella from my boyfriend’s uncle, and we’ve had her since July; we cannot keep her due to our moving situation. She’s very energetic and loving and good with kids, but she’s not very good with other animals; we think she can be trained out of that, but we do not have the right amount of resources or money to get her professionally trained. We want her to have a loving and understanding home (preferably with a backyard, so she can get some of her energy out). She’s very sweet and I hope she’s someone’s dream dog like she was ours.

Story
Whiskey is about 18mo. old now and quite a character, he loves being outside and running around, playing tug of war and fetch, just all your standard dog games! He is fully house trained and can be trusted without a kennel as long as there is nothing out in the open to tempt him (food and small toys). He knows several tricks on command, and is very treat motivated, well socialized with other dogs and even cats, although he does like to chase cats around, he won’t hurt them, he does like to take things that aren’t his sometimes, but only to get your attention, he has never chewed up a shoe or furniture as long as I’ve had him. And although he’s 55lbs now, he still thinks he’s a little lap puppy and will sleep on you or anywhere around you if he can. He does suffer from a bit of anxiety, especially if he can hear you but not see you, we have not had good luck with crate training in the past. Adoption fee is negotiable!

She’s loving, gentle, crate-trained, potty-trained, and knows her basic commands — plus she knows how to wave and has an incredible recall! Nala gets along beautifully with all eight of her foster siblings, enjoys curling up on the couch with either a human or a pup, and absolutely loves a soft bed and blanket. While she gives a quick alert bark when someone first walks in, she settles immediately once she knows who it is, revealing the wonderful, easygoing girl she truly is. What more could you ask for? Lovable, well-trained, and so ready to find her forever home — you truly can’t get any better than this. Whoever adopts Nala is getting a once-in-a-lifetime sweetheart who deserves the world!
