Meet Dagger Dagger is a handsome young Poodle born 10/15/2023, weighing about 54 pounds, with a gentle heart and a playful spirit. This sweet boy is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He enjoys his daily walks, exploring the yard, and learning about the world around him. When it’s time to play, Dagger’s adorable little hops of excitement will make anyone smile — and once playtime is over, he’s perfectly happy curling up for a long nap.Dagger is wonderful with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and even likes cats. Because he can be a bit shy in new environments, he needs another confident dog in the home to help show him the ropes and help him feel secure. With a little patience while he settles in, his goofy, affectionate personality really shines. He would do best in a home with a yard where he can safely run and play, and with an adopter who is home often or works from home.Dagger is neutered, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He has been treated for distichia (extra eyelashes that can irritate the eye) and currently just needs eye lubricant applied twice daily. He also has an old broken canine tooth that the vet recommends simply monitoring, as it does not bother him.Once Dagger feels comfortable and starts showing off his playful hops and sweet personality, it’s easy to see why everyone who meets him falls in love. Meet Deacon!Deacon is a two-year-old poodle mix who was rescued around Thanksgiving 2025. Since then he has made tremendous progress. His playful personality has definitely come out! He is very curious about his foster`s toddler and loves to watch the neighborhood activity from their gated yard. He takes a moment to warm up to new people. He will initially stay far away from new people until he is comfortable. Once he feels comfortable he will come close and be OK with being petted. When he is totally comfortable, he loves a tummy scratch!Deacon plays great and gets along with other dogs. However, he doesn`t need a dog companion so he would be fine as the only pup in the home.
