Espresso is an incredibly sweet goof ball. Do not let her age fool you she has plenty of energy and enjoys walking and playing. She seems to never have learned how big she is, as she is clumsy and leans on anyone close by for affection and pets. She loves people and wants to say hello to everyone. Within a few days she was able to learn sit and lie down. She is very treat motivated and despite her size takes treats very gently. She wants to say hello to other dogs and is friendly but can be possessive over food and toys. She wants to be a companion could use a forever home. She knows crates and would put herself into one on her bed.

Dolly is a deaf Great Dane but knows all hand signs. She is spayed and has had gastropexy done. She is great with big dogs but is little dog aggressive. She does ok with cats but not preferred. She loves to be the only dog or with other big dogs. She is very clingy and protective. She takes to men a lot but also loves women. She is quiet. Requires secure fenced yard. And to sleep indoors only. She is a snuggle bug and loves to lay with her human. Dolly will do great with a family or just one person. Dolly is in need of someone who can devote a lot of time to her and she does not have a lot of competition.

Warms up quickly to men and women as long as it is done slowly and at his pace. Initially weary of strangers. SKILLSPotty trained.Crate trained.Older children in a savvy home only (12+)Has not been exposed to cats.Has not been exposed to other dogs and ideally looking to place as an only dog at this time.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Needs patient proactive owner willing to work on behavior (see details below).Signing up for basic training will be a requirement to adopt. EXPERIENCED/large breed savvy owners required.ONE LAST THING:Maxx is a supersized puppy with lots of attention and love to give to the right family. He is goofy and loves to play, especially with an appropriately sized toy like his JUMBO Jolly-Ball. He loves treats and while he is a little on the shy side at first with new people, he warms up quickly as long as it is done at his pace. After the initial warm up phase, his true personality comes out. There is a playful side to him as well as a lazy lay at your feet side, although sometimes he may mistakenly lay on your feet in his attempt to cuddle :).Maxx initially had negative reactions when it came to strangers and pretty much everything new to him (including swaying palm trees). With reassurance, positive reinforcement in the form of treats, and looking to his handler for a confidence boost, his triggers have lost power. He will need continued socialization, desensitization, and training. With the right forever home, Maxx will continue to improve. He picks up on things very quickly and is very treat and toy motivated. He does need someone who will be patient with him, but also serve as someone who he can turn to for confidence and stability when he is unsure or frightened of something new for reassurance.
