Story
My 6 year old dog boba isn't adjusting well to our new infant in the house. We have tried to integrate her in every way possible but she is a main character dog and needs more attention than we can now give her. She is house trained, crate trained, and great with older kids. I hate that I have to give her up. I don't want any money for her, just for her to go to a great home. She is healthy and active. Loves backyards, to run, the park is pretty decent at dog parks until her boundaries get crossed. Has never bitten or snapped at another dog or kid. She sleeps a lot of the day and night with a long walk or two short walks. She loves her toys and bones, doesn't chew on belongings and loves attention. She was my only pet and only "baby" in my life for the whole 6 years and is used to being the only one but does great with other dogs who are also mild tempered! She has lived with other dogs in the past and is not an "alpha" dog. I would love to see her go to a good home.

Miller is a lively 1-year-old, 60-pound dog who is looking for his forever home! This sociable fellow is always ready to jump into action and play to his heart`s content. With his boundless enthusiasm and love for adventure, Miller would make the perfect hiking buddy! Whether it`s scaling mountains or chasing after squirrels, Miller is your go-to guy for all things fun and exciting. And after a day of adventures, he`s more than happy to snuggle up and enjoy some well-deserved belly rubs.Miller recently went on a FURlough Fieldtrip. He went for a hike at Ancil Hoffman Park and enjoyed a hamburger from McDonalds. Miller`s FURlough friend said `He`s perfect!` Miller rode well in the car, walked nicely on leash, enjoyed meeting new friends, and loves to give kisses.Miller`s adoption fee has been sponsored by Stephanie Brennan BjorgeMortgage Broker NMLS 1445028Instagram: @stephmortgageconsultantI lived with dogs in my previous home, and I may do well with a slow introduction. Story
Meet Mabel (FKA Moana), a 95-pound bundle of joy and goofiness! This big, happy girl is all about living life to the fullest—whether that’s chasing a toy, galloping across the yard, or greeting you with a full-body wag and a giant smile. Moana radiates pure glee and is always ready to turn an ordinary day into a party. We’re not sure what her past looked like, but it doesn’t seem like she had much training—or maybe she’s just too busy having fun to take commands seriously. Either way, her sweet and silly personality more than makes up for her lack of manners. She’s eager, lovable, and full of affection.Moana is looking for someone who can embrace her playful spirit, help her learn a few basics, and appreciate the magic of a big dog with an even bigger heart. If you’re ready for 95 pounds of love, laughs, and loyalty, Moana is your girl! This shy girl has participated in shelter playgroups and had a blast!  She would likely enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!

Story
Meet Sky, 2 yr old mix, neutered male (Anatolian shepherd and pit-bull is our guess) needs a new loving home. My parents have had him since he was 10 weeks old. He gets along with other dogs and people. My parents are older folks and don’t have the time and energy Sky needs for proper training, consistency and structured exercise. He would be much better off with a couple or single person who knows how to mean business with a neutral demeanor. Sky has resource guarding and alpha challenger issues. These can all be well managed with the right training, follow through and neutral calm demeanor. I am a trainer myself and would be willing and happy to work with whomever decides to re-home Sky as a curtesy. Giving him a safe loving and well balanced home would be worthwhile enough as a payment of my gratitude in giving back with my training expertise. Please message or call me if you or someone you know is interested.
