Story
We’ve made the difficult decision that we have to rehome our sweet Boston boy. We absolutely adore him, but my husband and I now both have full-time jobs, and it’s just not fair for him to be home alone for 8+ hours a day. We got him when I was a stay-at-home mom, but with our increasingly busy schedule, he’s not getting the attention he deserves. We are looking for a good match that will benefit Boston. He’s a 1-year-old big dog, 130 pounds, but sweet as can be. We have 2 children that he does well with. We’ve taken him to the dog park, and he gets along with other dogs (but once again, he’s big). He’s up to date on vaccines, takes Nexgard every month, but not fixed yet (due to the breed's size, they suggest 18 months). This breaks our hearts, but we need to think about our puppy too, and we believe we are making the right choice.

Story
Ruby is the sweetheart and loves to snuggle. These resilient little souls have quite the "rags to riches" story. Their brave mama was found as a stray and spent a week in the shelter before giving birth. Luckily, this sweet family joined our rescue when the pups were just one day old. They have spent every moment since being raised with love, high-quality care, and plenty of socialization. Now, these beautiful babies are officially ready to trade their foster beds for a forever home! While we can't be 100 percent sure of their full heritage, we do know that Mom is a purebred Great Dane; Dad is a mystery—possibly Husky or Border Collie! This "mystery" mix suggests a puppy who will be intelligent, loyal, and likely on the larger side. * Gentle Giants in Training: With a Great Dane mama, expect a dog who grows up to be a majestic companion. Having been in rescue since day one, they are well-adjusted and ready to continue their training with a dedicated family. What They Need in a Home • Commitment to Training: Puppyhood is a blast, but it requires patience! They’ll need help with house-training, leash manners, and basic cues.   Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation.
