She has a sweet, friendly temperament and does well with adults and children. Jerry enjoys relaxed walks, soft beds, and plenty of affection. She’s past the wild puppy stage and appreciates a peaceful home where she can be part of the family rather than just a pet. She is house-trained and up to date on vaccinations. Remy was acquired from the local animal shelter, at the time his owner (I'm the cousin of his owner!) was underage and her family agreed together to adopt another dog as their first family dog was passing from old age. Remy has a lot of experience with other dogs due to this, and turned 3 years old on November 19, 2025. Unfortunately as time went on my cousin was given all responsibility for Remy with no help from the family, and it's not a safe household for either of them. My cousin needs to move out but can't leave Remy behind, he deserves a loving home that truly wants to commit to him long term. He could use a large yard due to his size, or frequent outings. He has a brief history of being scared of adult men to the point he will bark and protect his owner (my cousin.) However, he is a very sweet boy. He loves his family despite everyone but my cousin neglecting him. It breaks my cousin to have to rehome him, but it's best for both of them. Please give him a chance!
