Story
Lilah is a beautiful Great Dane. She was born in August of 2022. She is extremely affectionate and wants to curl up in your lap! She is currently a little over 100 pounds. She was an outdoor dog but loves coming into the office to visit us. We want her to be able to be in an environment where she can be with her family more and be inside at night and in hot or very cold weather. Great Danes are very sensitive dogs and really thrive when able to be with their family. She will need to learn house manners, but she is a smart girl and can learn quickly. Loves to play but doesn't know her own size yet. Lilah does seem to be dog reactive, so we will need her to be single pet only. She will make a great pet for someone! $350.00 will help us with the cost of her spay, microchipping and vaccinations. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Reina was rehomed to us in early December. She was malnourished, uncared for and had behavioral issues. We were told she was trained, great with kids, other dogs and cats and healthy. She was not healthy, full of infections, not up to date on her vaccines and she has severe issues with resource guarding. We sent her to KORU K 9 for 5 weeks. She bit my daughter twice, and my husband once requiring stitches. She just came back from school and resource guarded food and bit my husband again. She is a very sweet girl who was unfortunately abused and we were not given the entire story. 8,000.00 later it is still unsafe for my 6 year old to have Reina with us. We have to re home her as soon as possible, or we will have to put her down.

Story
NAME:MaxxSTATS:Male, Dane Corso/ Mastiff Mix, 1.5 years, 115 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Shy at first and warms up.Needs seasoned owner to work with issues (see below).Moderately ActiveInitially was told he was fearful of men, which seems to be he just needs slow introductions to new people where he can approach them at his own pace. Warms up quickly to men and women as long as it is done slowly and at his pace. Initially weary of strangers. SKILLSPotty trained.Crate trained.Older children in a savvy home only (12+)Has not been exposed to cats.Has not been exposed to other dogs and ideally looking to place as an only dog at this time.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Needs patient proactive owner willing to work on behavior (see details below).Signing up for basic training will be a requirement to adopt. EXPERIENCED/large breed savvy owners required.ONE LAST THING:Maxx is a supersized puppy with lots of attention and love to give to the right family. He is goofy and loves to play, especially with an appropriately sized toy like his JUMBO Jolly-Ball. He loves treats and while he is a little on the shy side at first with new people, he warms up quickly as long as it is done at his pace. After the initial warm up phase, his true personality comes out. There is a playful side to him as well as a lazy lay at your feet side, although sometimes he may mistakenly lay on your feet in his attempt to cuddle :).Maxx initially had negative reactions when it came to strangers and pretty much everything new to him (including swaying palm trees). With reassurance, positive reinforcement in the form of treats, and looking to his handler for a confidence boost, his triggers have lost power. He will need continued socialization, desensitization, and training. With the right forever home, Maxx will continue to improve. He picks up on things very quickly and is very treat and toy motivated. He does need someone who will be patient with him, but also serve as someone who he can turn to for confidence and stability when he is unsure or frightened of something new for reassurance.
