Story
Hi...Meet Cooper!! He is approx 19 months old. He has been in my home since August 2025. He had been red listed at the Stanislaus animal shelter to be euthanized. He was found running the streets with no identification as a stray. I brought him home fully intending this to be his fur-ever home. He is a good dog...he is fully vetted. He loves his crate, loves car rides, knows the commands, sit and lay down. He is playful and affectionate. He is treat motivated. I call him Professor Cooper, because he typically lays with his legs crossed, as you see in one of the photos. He could use a regular size yard, as mine is a condo size yard. Due to unforeseen circumstances my 7 yr old granddaughter will be staying with me full-time. She is terrified of dogs. I have tried for several months to integrate them but it isn't working. It isn't fair to either one of them. Cooper needs a home where he is accepted by the entire family.

Story
Meet Dogbert! This sweet, handsome, and lumbering senior guy may be in his golden years, but he still has plenty of energy to spare. Dogbert takes his time getting to know new places, but once he feels safe, he'll lean into you for reassurance in the form of gentle head scritches. His slow, sweet tail wag says, "I trust you." He isn't hard to please - all he really wants is a yard to lounge in, a loving human to snuggle with, and a steady supply of treats. Dogbert isn't the type to rush into things; he moves through the world at his own thoughtful pace. Dogbert needs to be the only dog in the home - he prefers the spotlight all to himself. If you're searching for a big, beautiful dog with a quiet spirit and a lifetime of love to give, Dogbert may be your perfect match. Here is a note from his foster: We fostered Dogbert over the Holidays and he was the best first foster we could have asked for. Dogbert is a very chill senior gentleman who is wonderful around people and kids and absolutely loves a good nap. Despite his laid-back nature, he's far from aloof - he adores loving head and belly scratches and will gently ask for more if you stop. His calm knows no bounds - he barely even lifts his head when new people enter the home, and he was the gentlest giant with our young nieces. Dogbert is also a great listener. He patiently waited for an "okay" before heading down the stairs to our backyard and always listened when it was time to come back in. He's polite, easygoing, and a joy to have around. Dogbert would thrive in a home where he has a cozy place to relax, lots of love, and humans who appreciate a calm, affectionate companion. We feel so lucky to have spent time with him and can't recommend him enough. Primary Color: Blonde Weight: 97.6 Age: 8yrs 5mths 2wks
